Even to a super horned up 16 year old staying up until 1am so I could watch the infomercials, it was obvious that this was some shady, likely illegal predator ass shit.

Dude, they got Tshirts.  And hats!  Why do you hate the free market?

go on…

What that company and those camera men did aged like warm milk.

It's the seedy, soapy, who-gives-a-crap flavor of the aged old argument: do you hold people to the standards of their time or do you judge them objectively with what we know to be right and true now?

i agree with all of it except the "likely illegal" part. the illegal acts were carried out almost exclusively by joe, which duh, but also wasn't something you'd assume by watching late night infomercials.

was it scumbaggy? totally.

y'all can let me know how this is, i doubt i'll be tuning in.

Complete lack of decency is apparent no matter the times.

Watched the first episode. About what I expected. Lots of "I was drunk so I don't remember flashing the camera and I was so embarrassed 3 months later when I saw myself on the commercial".

Also whoever edited the sound for this thing sucks ass - several times I could barely hear the person speaking over the music.

Soon you'll get to the "I was 16..."

Yeah there was one of those in the beginning. Sounded like it was one of the very first shoots and they were just kinda winging it. They also removed her from everything pretty quickly it sounded like.

Also who the fuck let's their 16yo daughter go to Havasu for Spring Break?

This may shock you but teenagers aren’t always completely honest about their whereabouts. I spent a crazy weekend in Acuña when I was 17 that my parents still don’t know about.

Yeah that was a dumb comment - I did plenty then too that my parents still don't know about. Watching part 2 right now. Joe is a bit rapey.

Ok just finished. I mean we all knew Francis was a piece of shit but this definitely shows him to be a HUGE steaming pile of shit.

I find it kind of ironic that at the end they were like "the biggest hit to him would for him to become completely irrelevant" ..... well... now he's relevant again. Sort of... I guess.

Also I didn't realize he was still a fugitive - and yet he apparently keeps getting in legal trouble in Mexico, but they keep him there. Money talks it seems.

Can someone explain all the references above to a surly/shaggy person? I don’t recall anything on that.

immamac flashed his tits once but Francis told him he was too ugly to make the cut.
