I loved it. After the 2nd one in a row at one point later in the game, I commented to the guy next to me: “keep doing that. We’ve got Wisner over 25 carries. Give him extra time to collect himself”.

And like clockwork: handoff to Wisner, 7-8 more yards on the next play.

problem was both of those drives ended in turnovers.

As I said earlier last week, they marked this down as a W just solely based on the belief the crowd would intimidate our players and not on schemes, personnel, or coaching.

the aggy belief system religion cult requires pyle to have magical, supernatural powers which renders aggy invincible against the big evil liberal sipping burnt orange devils

saturday night was the aggy equivalent of a failed 2nd coming of jesus christ

true, but we seem to be in a moebius loop, trying to balance our satisfaction against their misery

on one side, the score should have been 34-0, and even then that would only be satisfactory; true joy requires 78-0, passing the record set by the landthieves

on the other, as posted upthread, all of the miscues kept the cult frothing at the mouth, not just believing, but awaiting the imminent moment of divine intervention they have been programmed to believe was their density

this year, we get satisfaction knowing they have reached rock bottom and the plane has crashed in to the mountain

next year.......  we have other fish to fry for the moment

But as with all cults, the failure of prophecy is nothing but further proof of the evil of our enemies. The only cure is for you to send me more money. The REAL rapture is next year.

I saw an agroid post the following picture as a retort. alleging of course that a Longhorn was responsible.    "A&M claims they are an engineering school, bonfire determined that was a lie"

May be an image of 2 people, television, crowd and text

Aggy gonna aggy, but I guarantee the sign says “we determined that was a lie.” Very common meme format.

guys, this is taking a gross turn. not a good look.

i personally would like to talk about how the agros started going all ole miss in the second half and having injuries on every positive texas play that went more than 5 yards and then the player miraculously returning a play later.

it is seemingly one sec tradition that we had largely avoided this season until saturday. that shit is fucking annoying.

Hopefully they make a rule stopping that bush league shite. Also, Sherman Turner is a biggity bitch.

Let the sacred transcript of this blessed event be forever enshrined in divine glory. Some of my fave lines you will hear from Looch:

"I think the score could have been a lot worse"

"There’s a world where the game could have been 27-0"

"Net yards rushing: Texas 240
A&M 90
That is the stat that most sums up this football game"

One team out-physicaled the other"

"They were better on both lines of scrimmage"

"When you’re down 17-0 at halftime and it felt worse, it tends to quiet down the fans"

My favorite quote from Looch on this was something about how you can’t take away the credit for their “two top ten wins” just because those teams aren’t in the top ten anymore (or even close). I’d be shocked if he has consistently applied the same logic to our schedule this season or ever.
