Y'all remember how the SEC was able to choose bowl match-ups for their teams?
It's one reason why we never played aggy the past 13 years. Is that still a thing? If so, we won't get a former SWC bowl game with aggy vs Tech, BU, or TCU.

IDK, Sanky may read their fan dribble and say fuck it, good luck with Tceh!

Aggy wanted to play us when were at our lowest and they had Manziel. As soon as things evened out, they tucked tail and begged Slive not to match us.

Aggy wanted the mythical “anytime anywhere” talking point without actually having to prove it.

Aggy won’t mind playing those other schools because they pose no threat to their status in the state even if they lose

When we approached them about a home and home in 22/23, it was telling that their answer was a quick “we’re full those years” instead of trying to work out a postponement with Miami or outright dumping one of their buy-a-wins with Lamar or Kent state each season to make it happen.

While we’ve worked with Arkansas in the past to accommodate them (fucking Arkansas!) and moved a Michigan game up to this year for tv and conference reasons, plus we or nd cancelled a series not long ago I when factors dictated.  So these scheduling changes do happen- just more evidence that they were hiding from us.  Not even a “hey we tried but contracts are contracts and we didn’t have contractual partners willing to work with us.”  Just “sorry we are full those years.”

On Friday I made the hour-long drive to the Plano HEB because my autistic son loves that place. While we were checking out, the checker says, "You know we're going to kick your asses, right?"

"Excuse me?"

"My Aggies are gonna destroy you on Saturday. You won't wear that Texas shirt again."

"Well, I guess we'll see, won't we," was my only reply.

Yes, I'll be making that hour-long trip again today. And I will choose my check-out line very carefully.

yea like they're gonna show up to work today

Get there early enough that you can ask that person to open the beer section for you at noon, so you get a chance to talk about the game and the celebratory beers you are buying.

Este. That's how you handle aggy. Just smile & nod. Trying to teach my boys this. It's a work in progress, but they'll get there.

There were a few fans who were out there within the ocean of dicktards. They deserve recognition. Come on Surly, lets find em!

ABC broadcast showed a lone Texas fan wearing a Home Depot hard hat standing amongst what looked like the Aggie band a couple of times.

Yes. And buy one thing at a time. Have him check you out, then remember the next thing and get back in his line. Over and over again. For an hour.

Be petty. If your autistic son would like doing the checkout line over and over then bring him with you. If not then it's a solo trip.

Were we the only rivalry game to not have a postgame fracas yesterday?

Looked like Sark shooed the players off the Aggie logo after the game was over to prevent any such incident.

Love you Chris but kind of glad none of the teams you played on played them.

I heard the team waited until the Ags left the field and then rushed out there and stomped on the logo.

But I don't know if that's true.

ABC broadcast showed players congregating on the mid field logo, but I have no idea where the Aggie players were.  Sark shooed everyone off and the players moved away pretty quickly.  Players were probably on the logo for maybe 10 seconds or so from what I saw on the broadcast.

You and little Shep were at the game? Awesome. I hope the plethora of assholes didn't dappen his spirits!
We walked around campus with family ( a&m grads) . Paid our respect to Mr &Ms Bush and thier daughter. Watched Longhorns players enter stadium. Had fun but no way was going to spend that kind of coin

How I would handle it:

Son, you have ASD, which is a social disorder that we can work with to help you have a fulfilling and wonderful life. This person has aggy…. This is as good as it gets for them.

I just read an article written an hour ago by an msn analyst who has aggy vs baylor in the Gator Bowl.  He also has us beating GA in the CCG, then again at DKR in the CFP.

I didn't know the guy, so I read his bio.  He left school at 18 to become a milkman.

Saw him standing alone, arms folded while ags were rubbing asses on seats during their “saw’em off” ritual.

If we win the CCG there wont be a playoff game played at DKR

Why the fuck would that assclown think you wouldn’t wear a UT shirt again?  I’d have said, “look you little fucking clerk, you bumpkins can beat us 10 years in a row and I’d still wear this shirt, because it rocks, so do we, and your team won’t ever do shit in anything, dressed in a color God designed to make fucking bus drivers look bad.”

Evanhue is only 1/3 correct. They are TTU. Baylor and TCU have multiple 10-win seasons and conference championships THIS CENTURY.

TAMU has a very long uphill climb to be at the same level as Baylor and TCU.

Went to game in 2001 at kyle. Our seats were 6 rows up behind 8T4 bench. Felt like that kid last night. Stuck out amongst the cult. Major tip of the hat of respect to him.

If your neighbor is still flying an aggy flag this morning, you might want to call in a "wellness check" for the poor bastard.

Saw someone in an Aggy sweatshirt at HEB couple hours ago, took a lot of restraint on my part to not go up to them and say "Boy, some game last night eh?"

At Kyle Field vs Texas, A&M is 22-26-2.

At DKR, A&M is 13-46-1.

So ... which stadium & crowd is tougher on the visiting team? Or maybe the best team just wins most of the time.
