I don't buy that the playcalling cost us the game.  Just like in the first game their dbs covered us up downfield.  They have the speed to erase the flares in the flat.  That leaves running the ball and crossers over the middle.  We couldn't run the ball.  All we could do was crossers.  And that's all we did.   This game was lost on special teams.

Running QB ate Georgia up a week ago...absolutely should be calling QB runs with a QB who could run. Playcalling absolutely cost us this game.

I honestly don’t know how you put that in Quinn. Unless you think he was calling the plays. That play calling disaster inside the red zone was 100% on Sark, and looked exactly like 2023.

Ewers has zero mobility and is not an elite passer. Especially downfield.

Pretty good in the intermediate and short passing game. He's an above average QB. If we had a gamechanger, we would almost certainly be the title favorites. This isn't all on Ewers, but we thought he was a top-tier college QB and he simply isn't.

Should have been all arch in overtime. Have to run the ball and for whatever reason our OL cannot run block their defense.

He should start in the playoff game. We know what Quinn gives us and it’s not enough to win 3 playoff games. Let’s see what Arch can do.

As much as everyone wants to shit on Ewers, here’s why we lose:

28 carries 31 yards.

you can’t win a game being abysmal on the ground like that.

This. ST suck. Red zone suck. Oline can’t run block. GA beat us w a backup.

We win of both of those easy field goals were made by Burt.

lol what? One of them was 51 yards (that’s on the coaches). He made the other one but some 4th string WR false started and he missed from 42 yards the second time.

he also made a clutch kick to go to OT and a kick in OT.

Sark and Quinn turned into turtles in the red zone which is why we ended up with 6 field goal attempts.

I wasn’t talking about just the OT play calling, I’m talking about what you will get with Quinn in the cfp over 4 qtrs. We aren’t winning shit with ewers.

We couldn't run the ball all day. Hard to win when you are one dimensional.

Frustrating. Wanted that conference title so bad.

Should have kept Manning in for overtime.  He’s a better dual threat that would made Georgia work for it.  If we get stopped, then kick the field goal.  At least it would been a better wrinkle.

Outcoached.  The loyalty to Ewers is going to fuck this team.

Too many mistakes to overcome.

Yeah, Ewers played better than he has in some time, and had others played better it would have been good enough.  Turnovers, missed field goals and drive killing/extending penalties is what beat us today.  We are talented enough to beat a lot of teams being a bunch of undisciplined and unfocused dipshits.  We aren’t talented enough to beat Jawja like that.  And we won’t finish a bnn playoff run like that.  Time to start tazing anyone who jumps offsides in practice.

Sark offensive play calling in OT sucked ass.

yes, just dreadful.  He's great at crazy razzle dazzle stuff when the game is not on the line.  In big games down the stretch the last two years, his playcalling seems to be "just throw some shit against the wall."

We should've never been in the position to leave the game in the kicker's legs. Sark coached to not lose and we lost.

A lack of execution by the QB had a lot to do with it. Quinn played better than other recent games, but still a disappointing performance overall. He really fizzled at the end of the 4th Q and in OT. Special teams really screwed us and in the first half we had a lot of boneheaded penalties. Just absolute boneheadedness by those players. They killed drives and canceled great plays.

Our defense did their part though. STs and offense are the culprits.

In-fucking-embarrassing. The receivers couldn't catch, side show bob couldn't kick, Ewers turned to bitch mode in the second half and Sark decided to go for "big" plays in OT. Disgusting. Sark needs an OC

Sark is maddening with the talent we have and yet the talent doesn't perform when we need them to. 2 decades of frustrations

And while most everything has been addressed, Auburn sucks and so does the punting game.  It's glaring and has been all season, but counts more now.  Especially since it hasn't been addressed.  If the backup blows, get two others.

I can’t process this game. We flew all over the field on intermediate routes in the first half and didn’t do dick in the second.

Sark kept calling slow developing plays, when they needed quick handoffs and quick throws.

We didn’t get a chance to establish the run game because he kept calling counters and other slow developing run plays. It’s like he was scared that they couldn’t line up and run up the middle.

They didn’t use Arch at all. I put this loss way more on Sark the OC than Quinn. Receivers were dropping passes all night and Quinn had to hold the ball too long for slow developing routes, causing more sacks.
