Dude, the season isn't over.  And we won't have SEC officials fucking things up for us from here on out.  B12 officials can certainly get their marching orders.... and we better hope they are not allowed to officiate a third game against these cunts.

Quit blaming the officials like bitches. Fuckin aggies.

In a sense it’s fine, we probably outplayed them, but in another sense it’s a fucking disaster and we’re not winning four games with Quinn at QB. I don’t even know if Arch is actually better right now, but I am 100% confident that we do not win a national championship with that wet blanket starting.

Sark keeping Quinn out there wet noodling throws, being lackadaisical, and crumbling under the slightest pressure is wild to me. Not even having a package for Arch is also confusing.

Someone remind me, when Trevor Lawrence took over as a freshman at Clemson was it due to a benching?

Y’all same absolute fucking pussies. We get completely robbed by the refs, play mediocre on offense, and terrible on special teams (as usual unfortunately — a real issue to be addressed) and we still barely lost to Georgia in our first year in the vaunted bullshit that is the sec. We should 1) go win the fucking playoffs because we won’t get jobbed that hard again by refs unless they somehow land big 12 ones. 2) work to destroy this hick ass conference and create the super conference with professional refs.

all he has to do is just turn and get in the way and make a little contact.  it would not have been a block in the back.  He though Barron was going to run by him.  I wish Barron had not trusted him and just cut.

Yeah they were daring us to have Quinn drop back and make a read and throw.
Not a good sign for a QB

I mean they never really loaded the box. They were pretty much in two deep the entire game. I don't know what to make of the offensive line. Kentucky and aggy both have really good defensive fronts and we bullied them. Then Georgia completely stifles our OL. Who are we offensively?

They had their own five star back up.

Georgia has been dominating for years. We might just not be on their level yet.

But damn it feels like we can beat them. We just keep tripping over our dicks.

Maybe we will get a third shot at them.

I hear you. I absolutely hate the notion that two teams would meet three times in a single season, even if technically once it is during the post-season. Conference title games in the playoff era are questionable but super-conferences are a counter to that argument. I actually thought the round robin Big12 schedule without a conference game was a superior format, but irrelevant at this point and obviously not perceived that way when we had it.

Despite the biased (intended or not) officiating, we had multiple opportunities to win this game and didn't make the plays when we needed to.

Hey bitch, I’ve seen my fair share of shitty QB okay.  That first interception was on Bond.  Go watch the play.  What is Quinn supposed to do when when the quits the route and loses sight of the balls. What about the dime he threw to Golden that hit his hands that he dropped?  Was that his fault too?  That 7 right there.  What about the 6 points Auburn cost us?  What about the 7 sacks?  Did he cause Jake Majors and Devon Campbell to get beat repeatedly.  How about the 30ish yards we had rushing?  Was that his fault too?  We played Georgia, probably the most talented roster in college football.  A team that matches very well with us.  We played on the road with our LT out.  Quinn is 24-4 as a starter.  Does he have flaws?  Ofcourse.  Is he the reason we lost this game, not even fucking close.  Did you start watching Texas football last year?  Bc I’ve seen this team win national championships and I’ve seen that lose to fucking Kansas.  I know a shit QB when I see one which Quinn is far from.  The team that won with a “projected” 1st round QB played an absolutely horrible game.  Have some fucking perspective, go smoke a joint, and enjoy this season.  We’re about to host a game in the playoffs and there is maybe 1 team that is a bad match up for us.  Don’t be a bitch.

All those things are true but all you can ask is for your team to have the ball last and your QB to make plays to win it when the game is on the line. UGA had their fair share of mishaps too but they made the plays to win it. We have a game manager who is probably not going to win us many close games when the pressure is on. I am thankful for Quinn but he won't take us all the way by being a game maanger.

That backup QB played well. Just another example of how deep and talented Georgia is. And while Kirby is a whiny bitchass on the sidelines, he's a good gameday coach otherwise.

It's crazy that all those classes he's stacked, he's only been to the playoffs 3 times. 2017/2021/2022. I guess 4 now, but he's been there for 9 years. It's not like Georgia is a constant CFP player. Now that it's gone to 12, sure, he'll get there, but before that, it was just 3 times. Just 1 more time than Michigan, and 1 more title. It's pretty sobering when you think about it, especially with all the talent he had acquired in all that time. Saban mopped his ass consistently. He's a good coach, but he also has the same amount of titles as Dabo. They keep saying UGA is the king of the SEC, yet they only have 2 titles. They're good, but not great by any means.

We just went in there and took their DL recruit that they had a relationship with since 8th grade..it won't be the last. I bet we land that LB Atkinson, too. Now that we're recruiting the SE, everyone wants to visit Austin.

Atkinson has been on campus 2-3 times now. We're a legit contender and I won't be surprised if/when we land him. The playing field is level now, and our big donors will start raiding. We just took a Georgia CB that dexommited from Clemson. The field is level and our classes are starting to look much, much better. We landed the #1 class this cycle. Not a single person on this site predicted that.

We are going to waste the best defense in Texas football history

Incorrect.  We wasted the best D in Texas football history in 1983.  That was the #1 D in the country and is somewhat similar to this year.  That year there was one game in which the D outscored our own Offense, against TCU, when the D turned the ball over and ran back two TOs for TDs, The offense scored one TD all game and we won 21-14 I believe.  In the 1984 Cotton Bowl, our star kicker, a Freshman named Ward kicked 3 out of 5 FG  attempts to give us 9 points.  Georgia scored after the famous dropped punt by Craig Curry in the final four minutes and a couple of plays later Georgia scored a TD on a sweep that all Texas fans say they were guilting of holding but it wasn't called.  10-9 Georgia denied us a perfect season.

We didn't know the gravity of the game until that night when Nebraska lost to Miami in the Orange Bowl, 31-30.  That was the famous game when Nebraska could have tied the game with an extra point and won the NC, but Osborne showed tremendous guts by going for two.  The pass was incomplete, and Miami won the game.

If either of Jeff Ward's missed kicks in the CB were good, or Curry simply stays away from the punt, we would have another National Championship.

If Edwin Simmons had been born with legs more or less equal in length he would not have been injured after the Oklahoma game and we would have had a RB who could hit the hole quicker than anybody else, and we would have had a very good running attack.

If Fred Akers had given Rob Moerschell a serious chance at QB in the 1984 CB almost all Texas fans believe we would have scored a TD on one of his drives, because Georgia had prepared extensively for Rick McIvor, because Rick had the game of his life in the 45-13 route of Aggy, throwing I believe 4 TD passes.  Rick had a golden arm and despite not starting much in college was drafted into the NFL.

Btw, that Texas D had at about 12 players drafted into the NFL.  I distinctly remember one backup getting drafted, a DB.

2005 defense could just play super aggressively because they knew VY would score. This defense is better than 2005.

1983 certainly has an argument.

I love this year’s defense and I was partly joking.  So, agree, but arguably the 2005 defense also made some absolute championship driving critical plays to put VY in a position to score.  Exhibit A - Rose Bowl, 4 and 1, LenDale White. Defense, no pressure.  Go make that stop.

1983 defense.  I won’t budge much.  They held Georgia to 10 points in the Cotton Bowl.  Not their fault we lost.  Fuck.

Sure that’s a fair statement.  How many teams can say what you just posted.  Oregon?  Truth is that we got 2 #1 QBs.  One isn’t who we thought he’d be.  He’s a game manager that struggles with pressure.  The other guy isn’t ready yet.  How many of you forget that we already benched Quinn against UGA only to see Manning come in, struggle and fumble the ball.  Unless you want to ruin him, just be patient.  We can still win it all with Quinn.  For fucks sake, we were 1 play last year from playing for a national championship and we have a very favorable seed to get there this year.  I think the reality is that most posters can’t come to terms that Georgia has a better roster and better staff that Texas right now.  I bet that changes next year.

Despite it all we had every opportunity to win. They had their backup qb in and they ran it down our throat. Stfu.

37 carries for 147 yards isnt exactly running it down our throat…

Once PK adjusted and the D started playing contain, we limited him breaking free quite a bit. Despite that, we did leave the middle open a few times for him to sneak through or dump a screen off at critical points.

As for their rushing game in general, their RBs broke some big ones off after the backup came in and I'm curious if holding helped open any of those running lanes, but I'm not making the accusation. Tough to see everything going on in real-time.

I will not blame this all on the Refs.  But it is interesting that the holding penalties that seemed to dog us the first half almost completely disappeared in the second half after Sark made that comment at half.

Their holding was egregious and only called once or twice. We're talking 2015 Okie Lite bullshit penalties.

Also, there used to be an argument that the 1981 defense was actually a better D than 1983, but I think they ended up #2 in the country.  I am going strictly from memory.  That team was not undefeated, at 9-1-1, and the entire team was stained by a loss in which they did not "show up".  The team got a bit cocky I would imagine and looked like they didn't want to be there against Arkansas, in Arkansas.  I don't even remember the score it was so bad.

Be interesting to see after watching the film. Too emotional right now.

when you don't have a mobile QB he has no chance to bail you out of shitty calls, missed OL assigments, and eliminates the D needing to account for it(which helps the running game).

Ewers is good and he won 11 games but he's not going to throw you to a win over 60 minutes against DC's that know what they are doing.

GA probably has the 2nd best Dline in college football, hell probably better than some NFL teams

2nd half we also hardly got the ball and went to a passing game plan with minimal sideways shit bc uga dominated the TOP
