Fair, but we have two weeks to get healthy, and we won't be facing refs with an agenda to stop us.

We're about to blow a couple of teams out and finish getting healthy by mid-January.

Let's fucking go.

I respectfully suggest you do not split your infinitives like that Hombre!  Hook 'em.

My Playoff Wish (aside from the obvious): We make it to the Peach Bowl and the CFP informs us that, yes, they have space for Bevo.

The Championship game is also in ATL. Potential to play 3 games there in a little over a month.

Because the committee made the right decision not to punish people for playing in a CCG and not getting blown out

I think that is too simplistic way of looking at it. OSU played the best of the Big 10 in the regular season. PSU only played OSU at home and lost. Same records. OSU had head to head, better wins, and better SOS.

So dumb. They should seed the first round and then reseed the second round.

no. they need to seed 1-12 once the conf champ is decided.  the conf champ bye is what is fucking everything up.

Yeah i think it’s a legitimate argument. I just think when they made the decision not to punish us it was easy to let it cascade to PSU and SMU

How are refs chosen for these games?

Talking heads on CBS Cover 3 this morning talked like the Surly SECCG string with overscheming Sark, Arch-less offense, Quinn shortcomings and FGs not TDs and Auburn’s missed FG kicks as dueling scapegoats. “UGA lost to UGA’s backup was a repeated theme. One guy daid he thought Quinn’s throwing mechanics have been off since the broken collarbone (when was that? ‘22?).  Lots of harping on low yards per carry rushing while saying out the other side of his mouth how Texas has an elite O line.

Lots of elite D getting played in the B12 all of the sudden?

Our defense is already carrying the load for the team. Having to tackle this guy is going to wear them down and keep them on the field for longer periods of time. There is only so much the defense can do if our offense can’t score any points.

They give preference to the highest seed

if you’re Oregon do you choose Arlington and a possible backyard game for Texas. Or Miami

i also don’t know when they have to choose…. Or what happens if they lose their quarterfinal

You would think they’d choose Miami; a 3:40 flight vs a 5:40 flight probably won’t make a difference for how many of their fans travel to the game, and it would cut the number of Texas fans by at least 10-15K…

Does anyone know how tickets for the clemson game will work?  When do they go on sale?

They emailed season ticket holders asking if you wanted to buy your seats for a home playoff game. I assume their might be some residual inventory that the university sells but idk how that works out

I appreciate the scouting, but one thing I’m sure of is I have no concerns about the Texas DEF vs the Arizona State offense should that matchup transpire

#5 worked out about the best it could for us. O don't think that it is as good as a bye, but it's so much better a path than the other first round seeds.

#6 is a bit better I think but whatever.

Why don’t we use some of that BMD and do a little remodeling.  The Georgia Dome will be our house for the foreseeable future after all

Reseeding is stupid. If you do that, it's not a bracket.

so fucking much this! I just don't understand the people that want to reseed.  just seed it correctly in the first place.  you know, like the NCAA tournament has done for DECADES with no issue.

This is why I like 8 teams and not 12, fuck Boise and Arizona St having byes.

Go look at the defenses they played. aggy was probably the best.

They scored a boatload of points against crappy defenses, as they should have...

Here's Texas, by comparison.

Texas has an absolute gift of a path to the semifinals. So favorable it almost feels a little dirty lol.

I think we lose whenever it is we run into Oregon or Georgia; and Ohio State, Tennessee, and ND can all beat Texas too, but man this team should really be able to get to the semi finals without too much issue. Once you're at that point, anything can happen really.
