Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl ring because nobody could fucking score on the 2000 Baltimore Ravens defense.

That D was insane. The Ravens had a stretch of 5 consecutive games where they didn’t score a TD and still went 2-3…

We're making it to the NC game. Period. Full Stop.

Cot dam, give me some of whatever you're drinking, because I sorta lost interest after the SEC CCG.  There may have been 11 different ways to win that game, take home SEC hardware in the first year, and enjoy the easier path through to the CFP, but no, he lost to another pudgy dipshit in a visor.

UGA's path is cakewalk and one we should be enjoying.  Now, it'll be hilarious to see them bounced by ND, but our side of the bracket gets too spicy after ASU.  All that's left is to execute Shock & Awe from here on out, and I need some help with that motivation.

The semi finals are hard. News at 10. Our draw is fine.

There's a lot of stupidity here but UGA's path is not a cakewalk (at least in comparison to Texas).

We do get a potentially more difficult semis match-up in Oregon but they get the much more difficult quarters match-up in ND.

Thamel just said Bond is basically out against clempsom

If we can't beat Clemson and ASU without him we don't deserve it.   But if there is a chance he could get back close to pre-injury Bond sitting next 2 games I think you sit him and let him heal.

You lost interest just as the playoffs are starting?

We get a 3 loss Clemson at home, Arizona State, then Oregon in Texas.  What the fuck is wrong with you

UGA sits on their gimpy QB's hands until ND, and if they get through them, they play one of Penn State or Boise State, either of which can be shut down by the run.  That could have been us but Steve fucked it up.

Some writers claim one of the Steeler’s teams from the 70s was the greatest defense ever, but amazingly, that team didn’t win the Super Bowl. I believe the Raven’s 2000 team was the greatest ever. They allowed 10 points a game and their Super Bowl would have been a shutout but the Giants had a special teams TD.

Once we bounce Clemson and ASU we get either Oregon/fOSU/Tenn in the Cotton Bowl. It's pretty much in our backyard. These dudes are going to be fired up when they return home.

Have faith. Let the CCG go. It's done with. We're 11-2. Remember just 3 years ago we were 5-7, and before that was the dark ages that we do not speak about. Our roster is littered with freak athletes, so we're evenly matched with whomever we face. I don't give a shit that we lost the CCG; all I care about is we made the CFP for the second year in a row.

Sark has us trending in the right direction. Last year we were also 11-2. We just landed the #1 class in the country. In 4 years we have the #1, #3, #5, #4 classes. That's how you win championships. Keep stacking classes

We have a real shot at winning it all. Even if we don't, we'll still make the final 4, and that's amazing considering where we were just 3 years ago. So let the bad taste of the the CCG go. We got the 5 seed. That's not bad at all.

Jeanty will carve up UGA's  defense. UGA with their frosh QB are in big, big trouble.

are you perpetually drunk? Jeanty wil be lucky to get over 50 on uga. The only back to get over 100 on them this yr was Tennessee stud who barely cracked it and he’s best in the sec.

Jeanty is a tier above Sampson. Boises OL is a different story.

Clemson is a top 5 team in the country at forcing turnovers (three behind Texas). That's what scares me the most. We're a very turnover prone team. Texas has to keep the ball and convert drives into points moreso than they've done in more than a month to win. The offense has sucked ass since Florida, and that game needs an asterisk since they were missing so many players.

You should try and wake up in the morning and not be a pussy.  I never wake up and think “how can I be like Mack today?”

But did they have a rap song? Bears defense got a to rap that may put them over the top

Maybe with another week it will have finally made some progress, but there's no point in letting him try to play again this weekend when it's not healed up and him inevitably tweaking it again.

Greetings, my young friends.

As promised, here an update on my night spent w/ some of our favorite Texas Longhorns!
I was invited to cover a charity event. Raising Canes donated 100 bikes to the Austin Boys and Girls Club. Isaiah Bond partnered with Raising Canes and brought his boys: Tre Wisner, Gunnar Helm and Jahdae Barron!

We had a grand time with some wonderful young people in need, press, carolers, volunteers, dinner, a youth football team and much more.
The guys were so amazing and fun to talk to. They were so honored to interact w the kids. Isaiah spoke about his childhood, and how he could relate to children not having much of anything.

As if that wasn't fun enough, I got each of them to sign my two Sacred Surly Horns Quinn Ewers footballs, so now we are a tribute to this wonderful 2024 team!
As some of you know, I am gifting one of these sacred objects to Surly Horns and @immamac . How it is used will be determined later but part of me wants him to keep it for all he has done to create this wonderful community.

Here are some pics. And yes, I am ugly and out of shape. I'm 65.

So, great photos, great charity . . . Bond's injury?

Thnx!
I have a rule about talking to athletes:
You want to have a good conversation with them, ask them about their sport.
You want to have a great conversation with them, ask them about their life.

You think the Tennessee RB is in the same stratosphere as Jeanty? Considering the guy needs just 132 yards to break Barry Sanders record, has 29 rushing TD's, averages over 7 YPC, and has 2, 497 yards?

Yeah, I think he'll be fine. I don't care what conference he's in, the dude is better than any RB in the SEC SEC SEC.

If you told me a couple of weeks back that we'd knock UGa's QB outta the game by halftime, and hold them to 16 points when the clock hit 00:00,  I'da been pretty broke and homeless now... 'cause I would have bet the ranch on that W.

If we want to win this game, either we find a way to get someone not named Ewers some holes to run through, or we quit turning the ball over and quit settling for FGs. Or both, preferably. Clemson isn't even in the conversation with UGa, but they also aren't in the other conversation with aggy. We can't stumble-fuck our way through this game.

No mistakes here, we're gonna have to fight for the win.

I think we do it.

This first 12-team shit is set up for storybook chapters. I want to see us knocking off the Fightin' Nikes and (finally) the Whiny Visordawgs and hoisting that trophy award hardware.

But before we do that, we need to take care of Clemson... and, of course, the Big XII Champs.

Saddle up, boys.
