We don’t play at home in October??

We're technically the home team for OU but we give up that home game for the game.

Guess that is what we get when we only have 3 home conference games since we are "home" in the Cotton Bowl in 2025.

Okay. None of those are that awful except maybe Florida. The other two are fairly easy.

That November 15th weekend is going to be incredible. Texas @ Georgia, OU @ Alabama, Florida @ Ole Miss. That will be your ABC triple header.

Being unveiled on SEC Network/ESPN2 right now. Flipped

Open SEC conference play in Gainesville the week before OU. That is not bad for October but we're not in Austin the entire month.

So only 1 away game in November (Georgia). Home games with Arkansas, Vandy, and aggy.

Will update as it goes on.

10/4- @ Florida

10/11- Texas OU

10/17- @ Kentucky

10/24- @ Miss State

11/1- Vandy

11/8- bye

11/15- @ Georgia

11/22- Arkansas

11/29- aggy

We play TWO Friday night games in October?

Yech!

Florida might already be pretty beat up going into that game with road games both at LSU and Miami before we play them but that will be tough for sure.

Statement win to open in BIG territory with a team breaking in a new coach, QB, and a bunch of other guys. Lose to UGA.

Will not have beaten a top 25 team after we knock a ~#20 Aggy out again the weekend after thanksgiving

broken record

Weird quirk: this will be the first time Texas will play four weeks in a row without a true home game since 1997 when they played at Rice, at Oklahoma State vs Oklahoma and at Missouri in a four week stretch.

Where does one fly into for Georgia? Atlanta? I don’t see a United Houston to Athens flight.

Same question for Lexington, KY.

You fly into Atlanta, it's about 90 minutes to two hours from the Atlanta airport.

Lexington has a pretty decent airport. Shouldn't be hard to get in and out.

My senior year. What a shitty season that was, complete with being taunted by Baylor fans after leaving their high school stadium.

Bluegrass Airport for Lexington. UK lost the few decent players we had and return the same shitty coach so that game won't be competitive. It's a nice area but I'm biased since I grew up in Lexington.

Your other options for Lexington are Louisville and Cincinnati. Each are about an hour and half away.

6 weeks without a bye is gonna be rough

at least the opponents are mostly weak. Swamp and Dallas back to back will be tough

Dallas won’t be tough. OU will suck out loud again.

OU, Ark, A&M, MSU and Kentucky should all be really bad next year. Ohio state will be really tough with an entirely rebuilt offensive line and Arch’s first start. Georgia in Athens, obviously will be a coin flip at best. I expect Florida to be an 8-4 team, but that game will be tough. Overall a manageable path the playoffs even in a rebuild-ish year.

How do you expect any teams future record right now.

This won’t be a rebuild year. We will be better next year than this year. Book mark it and check back after the portal.

Fly into Louisville and hit distillery’s the whole way to Lexington. Also, Keeneland is nearby. We went to Lexington for a game last year and Jeff Ruby’s was the place to eat on Friday night.

We're replacing a three year starting QB (I know... I know... but still), 4/5 of the oline, Bond, Helm, all the DTs, Barron, Mukuba and maybe Taffe. I don't see any way in hell the defense plays at the same level.
