Meep meep…I was trying to find a longer version of the clip with the full replay (haven’t found one) but I do believe he is right handed. Fumbled snap. QB makes best play he could with his non-throwing arm. Just making normal everyday plays lol.

Love Jeff Traylor! Of the final play (lol):

“Just like we drew it up,” Roadrunners coach Jeff Traylor said.

——————-

The TE that caught the tipped pass:

And when the ball skipped off the turf on the snap from center, the largest home crowd of the season gasped.

Was this how it all was going to end?

Harris refused to think so. He scooped the ball up, scampered a few steps to his left and fired it in the general direction of Oscar Cardenas, a tight end from Brandeis, who during his time at UTSA has been known more as a blocker than a pass-catcher.

But the ball didn’t quite get there. Noah Wilder, a UAB linebacker, tipped it into the air with his left hand. It was up for grabs. The crowd gasped again.

But if this UTSA season was meant to be, then so too was Harris’ pass. Cardenas looked up. He thought of all the mindless tip drills he’d been through in practices. And there was the ball, drawing closer.

“It was huge,” he said later.

When it finally came down, it found Cardenas’ breadbasket, setting off one of the most raucous Alamodome celebrations since, oh, the past couple of NCAA Final Fours.

35,147 was 5th largest crowd in program history. The atmosphere was great from tailgating to the crowd. I went to visit friends in a suite during 3rd quarter and it was equally loud if not louder up in that area. Glad we got back down to our seats for the ending. I've never heard it this loud in the Alamodome.

Also surprised by this. Todays Express News article also stated this was the most ever for  an Conference USA game.

I’m worried about our game against UTSA next September.  They would definitely beat our shit show this year.

It's pretty clear that this team has given up on the year, so if we played next week, they'd kick our ass in.

The main thing we have going for us heading to the showdown next year is, their losses will be a lot harder to fill than ours.   Even if we underachieve, we have a hell of a lot more bodies to throw into the mix.  UTSA will be still molding a bunch of no-star players into a team.  They're currently ranked 99th in recruiting, we're 7th.

We should be able to just overpower them.

I wouldn’t pay too much attention to recruiting rankings, Traylor is going to wreck shop in the transfer portal and his guys will be ready to play

A big part of that 7th ranking as that turd of 2019 class that ranked 3rd nationally but was probably tenth before call camp thanks to Bru flipping back to USC and the medical retirements of Floyd and that RB from GA. And by now it should be about 90th for how little that class has brought to the program. So those should be our seniors, our juniors don't look much better, our sophs are a transition class, and then we have Sark's first class.

Prepare thy anus for Roadrunner cock. Meep meep, motherfucker.

Unless Sark goes full Chris Beard on a football-sized scale, next year's team will be as bad or worse than this year's. I really think we should prepare ourselves for that and accept it and hope Sark can start to turn it around in year three.

Or we can fire him and hire Traylor before he makes it back to San Antonio.

In a perfect world, we send Sark and Traylor and their staffs and our boosters and CDC down to Mexico to go do jungle drugs with a shaman and destroy their egos for a weekend, and then all would see that logically Traylor should be HC, Sark his OC, and then we work out the rest of the details based on what is good for the ailing program and not for egos and bottom lines. Make a chimera of the Roadrunner Longhorn spirit animals, a Roadhorn Longrunner if you will.

Has the backup QB gotten any playing time this year? I think the team is going to look different without Harris as the QB next year.

Nice! Are they going to be playing AAC games next year? I only see 4 games on their 2022 schedule.

Harris is back for his 11th year. Clemens was 3A when he played high school ball.

If Traylor beats us he will 100% be our next HC, only question will be how soon

Traylor knows that next year’s game against us is his audition for he job. He knows that all you have to do against this gimmick defense is run at it over and over. The real question is how Traylor’s defense can handle Sark’s offense.

Handle Sarks offense? Lol after the way this season has gone, do you really think he's concerned about Sarks offense next year?

We was never 3A. I don’t think. We was 4A when I was there.. even before Steele. Then 5a no?
