Why Texas Stomps a Mudhole In Clemson's Ass

We beat their ass because we're bigger, better, faster, stronger, and elite. We'll score in the 30's. I predict we win 34-10. They're a bad, bad team. Wildly overrated, and backdoored their way in. They're about to find out what fuck around and find out means. Same with ASU when we send them a butt plug the size of the Apollo spacecraft.

They're not a bad team, and they didn't backdoor their way into the playoffs.  They earned their way in by winning their (very mediocre) conference over (good, but definitely not great) SMU in what was essentially a home game for Clemson.

They're essentially aggy.  They have similar records.  They both got kicked around in their opener against superior out-of-conference opponents.  They both lost at home to their in-state rival in their last game.  And they both get undue credit for beating overrated conference opponents (SMU, Mizzou).  But they're not bad teams.  They're good teams, but good teams don't have any business beating this Texas team in Austin.  And if Texas were to lose, it would involve a catastrophic failure by Texas of a scale that really hasn't happened in the past two years.

I don't think Clemson is as bad as their stats say they are. There are three major issues the team has:

1) the DC is a fucking idiot who doesn't make adjustments and makes basic mistakes that a madden champ wouldn't make. (like benching Sammy Brown in the second half and letting Sellers run wild)

2) no depth as a result of not using the transfer portal. Best observed when Clemson lost both starting DT against Louisville. Depth is a bigger problem over a long season than right now.

3) special teams suck. Punter sucks, kicker gets every other kick blocked.

I think it will be a tougher game than most think it will be, but Texas should win. Either lose and let Clemson advance, or pound them so hard that the DC gets fired, please.

If Texas loses to this Clemson team, I may lose my shit. Texas, even off, should not lose to this Clemson team full of freshmen and sophomores. And at home, nonetheless.

I like your analogy that they're aggy, because they are.

We're not getting a lot of respect from the ESPN college football reporters.  6 of the 12 predict us to lose to either Clemson or Arizona State.

Can't blame them.  Our offense needs to pull their heads out of their rear ends and play to the level of our D.

No depth, terrible special teams, and an idiot DC. I’m pretty sold on this not as bad as the stats thing!

I’m seeing that the line has moved from -11 to -13.5 over the past few days. Obviously moving it to -14 or -14.5 would be kind of crazy, but this has reminded me a lot of the OU game week this past season.

Lots of talking heads taking Clemson with no real reason behind that except they think Ewers is going to choke at home and that Klubnik will own Texas because it’s a “homecoming”. Right.

Vegas always knows.

It all comes down to Quinn. Do we get the head case or the super star?

There's no in-between.

The fake punt that Bama tried in that game was intercepted on a diving catch by Blake Gideon. Problem was that it was fourth down and if he just lets it hit the ground it would have gained over 25 yards in field position for the Horns. It was like the polar opposite of when he dropped the easy interception against Texas Tech, but still a bad result for Texas. The end result in both games were bad too.

And just 2 plays later, Colt got hurt.

Texas 38 - 16

Similar thing happened for the game against the ags.  Mediots picking A&M just because it was a home game for them and there's no way Texas was going to withstand 110,000 screaming ags in maroon.  At night.

Texas physically dominated and won then, and I expect Texas to dominate physically and win today.  But to win comfortably, the Horns are going to have to avoid unloading the shotgun directly into the foot over and over and over again.

With how we’ve played lately. It’s warranted.  I want everyone sleeping on Texas
