Lando is treated like the clear cut #1, and I don't understand why.

When I posted this, I didn't realize that that Lando out-qualified Oscar 21-3 last year. Obviously, it makes sense to prioritize the car that dominated Saturdays and always starts closer to the front. So far this year, Oscar is up 3-2. Going to make for a spicy paddock if that trend continues.

Piastri is just a better driver right now.

They’re lowering the amount of flex the front wings can have by 5mm.  It’s predicted that it’s going to take most of McLarens speed advantage over Red Bull away.

Does anyone else use the F1TV stream? The quality night and day better compared to the broadcast over Hulu, but the app is absolute garbage.  Very buggy and fast forward is a pain.

I use premium on Apple TV to get the 4K HDR feed. It’s been mostly alright aside from it not working last week for a bit.

Oscar is the better driver.

Lando has better pace and is better at preserving his tires, but none of that matters if he keeps screwing up qualifying and being bad in wheel to wheel racing. Lando would be walking away with the WDC if he could quit screwing up, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen, so you’ve gotta go with Oscar at this point.

Max driving off track and keeping the place is bullshit.

Maybe if they keep penalizing him 1 out of every 10 times that he does it, he'll finally learn his lesson!

No reason to give it back when the stewards let you keep 1st.

Pretty unlikely he builds a 5 second lead on a McLaren before pitting. To your point though, he'd probably be further behind Piastri after 20 laps had they restarted with Max in 2nd then he will be after serving the penalty.
