not that it matters for this game but I really hate that call. leonard is running in bounds, jumps from inbounds and the tackler launches while he is still inbounds.  that should be reviewable.  the tackler doesn't know he is going to jump straight left to OOB.  if the player isn't OOB when the tackler starts his movement to make a tackle it shouldn't be a penalty.

Man ND looks like they are going to get rolled by Georgia. I really hope they don't but hard to see them not.

Their defense looks fast.

Maybe fat fucks back up QB is good but he likely sucks if he can't beat out Beck and Beck sucks..

I don't agree with it.  At all.  He had not put one foot out of bounds yet and from my pov defender made contact when Leonard was mid jump still in bounds

Dude. It was clear he was giving himself up. That was not a controversial call at all.

They can win a low scoring game against a Georgia team with an inexperienced QB. Not saying they will but they can. At least if the normal Georgia team shows up and not the defense that plays against Texas.

Yep. I get why the flag was thrown because it looked bad, but he was still in bounds and still live when he got hit.

That's what I am hoping. That looks like the only path.

then he should slide.  the tackler can't know you are giving yourself up. he  jumped almost straight left.

He doesn't have to have a foot land out of bounds.  The guy's entire body was out of the field of play when contact was made, and he's a quarterback who had given himself up.

There's a lot of bullshit going on to overprotect ball carriers, but that call ain't it.

GA qb is going to have to step up in a big way.   I have my doubts.

ND has one corner who is not good.  USC was working him over until they started to fall apart.  Indiana doesn’t have the ability to attack him at all.

I don’t know if Georgia can either with the backup QB.

meh.  the tackler starts to move to make the tackle while the QB is inbounds.

After this IU performance, they will likely press even harder for teams like Alabama this year to get in.

Just make it a head to head matchup.   Best six SEC schools and the other six from the field.

Now that there are 12 spots go back to the computers

All of the models had IU in this. They rolled up the score on shitty teams a la Stoops' era OU.

The scheduling needs to be fixed. Plain and simple. They would have gone 7-5 against Georgia's slate.

So what if the guy that hit him put his helmet on the ball...weird bounce... It ends up on the field and Indiana recovers. You would say no fumble, personal foul, because the QB jumped forward and left?

Bullshit. You want to give yourself up then give yourself up. Don't jump in the air.

How? They won’t run against UGA with any of their rbs or their QB. Georgia has more dudes and is much faster.

Yeah, Alabama is way more worthy. They only put up a FG against an SEC!SEC!SEC! team.

Really, the Defender should have got his money’s worth and put him into the bench. Same flag

I hope our game is this boring tomorrow.

Clemson at least has some athletes and bodies on the 1 deep. And is a lot more tested.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see something similar though - especially if Ewers plays worth a shit.
