2024 #1 WR - Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
2023 #1 WR - Brandon Innis, Ohio State
2023 #3 WR (ranked #1 by some) - Carnell Tate, Ohio State
2021 #1 WR - Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
it's the most stacked WR room in the country.
None of that means anything, there is only one UT.

People clamoring for more playoff teams need to just stop..

People clamoring for fewer teams need to stop, too.  This format is great.  The only change needed is to scrap the auto byes for the top 4 conference champs.  Those should go to the 4 best teams.

Damn idk if Ohio State (who lost to Mich at home) is this good or Tennessee this bad

Fucked up play-calling at the goal line that makes Sark look like a genius is why we lost that game at Tennessee. Plus, losing our starting quarterback.

If early season Florida was taking it to you, you aren’t that good.

Tennessee is waaaaay in over its head. This is why 12 teams are dumb. It should be 8. You get scrubs like SMU, ASU, Indiana, and Tennessee.

I tend to agree. I also think that if you’re the 9th team in that scenario you really don’t have much argument about being left out. Win your games.

But there will be more.

God I hope not. That will give aggy hope only to pull the rug out from under them. While that will be funny, adding more shitty teams is not the answer. People want to see good, talented teams fight it out, not elite teams pound lower seeds into the ground. You might as well be playing Citadel.

On the contrary I think Texas matches up very well with teams like ND and Penn State.

it’s the Oregon’s and Ohio States that scare me. Specially after wat Clemson did today with not even as good WR’s

You're wrong.

ND has a defense that is very similar to Georgia regarding speed and scheme. How'd that work out? Twice?

Pedo U doesn't worry me.

OSU, Oregon, Georgia and ND concern me. Oregon mostly cause that's gonna require a lot of points and they play better D than Clemson.

This tournament is about money and it's going to make a ton of it.

You really think it's going to get smaller after this year?

They lost to fucking Ark and barely beat FLA.  Lol.  They fucking suck.

I dunno if they play better D than Clemson. People have been able to put up points against them. I'd say they're petty similar.

4 would be better, 2 even better

This, fuck the 12 teams. Let's go to a 2 team playoff. That will fix everything.

Jesus this shit is worse than NCAA basketball tourney nonsense.

Please take the CFP whining to the CFP crying thread.

Oh no, we've got more college football and not all of them are close games. We are actually deciding it on the field instead of letting mediots decide. This is terrible. FML!!!

12 team playoff might not be the answer.   None of these first rounders have been very competitive.  I don't see ASU or Boise St being a threat to win it all either. ND? Doubtful...  To make a 12 team playoff even interesting the first round, they need to do away with autobids and go with the 13 best teams period.

There is typically only 3 or 4 teams any given year that is a cut above the rest.

True but the biggest difference about ND. They don’t have those athletes that move like Georgia. Arkansas and Vandy both ran the same schemes Georgia did but didn’t have the players. ND had better players than those teams but not to the level of Georgia.

ND is a paper tiger who got a favorable draw. OSU goes as the QB goes and he can look the total opposite of this and has. For me its Georgia and Oregon.
