He can’t be tackled at his ankles, but he also can’t be tackled high.

He’s not black, but he’s also not white.

He’s elite, yet he is also not very good and hasn’t played anyone.

He wouldn’t play here, but could also get 25-50% of RB touches.

He’s slow behind the LOS but fast after it.

He has 9 career fumbles, but has also never fumbled.

Jerryworld should be the site for the National Championship game, with it being more of a central location to the rest of the 48 states.
I wonder why that isn't already a thing.

I asked the AI about it.
------------
Jerryworld, or as it's officially known, AT&T Stadium, is a spectacular venue, but it's not used for the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship game for a few key reasons:
*   **Bidding Process and Rotation:** The CFP National Championship game location is determined through a competitive bidding process, much like the Super Bowl. Cities and stadiums across the country put together proposals to host the game. The CFP then selects a site based on a variety of factors, including stadium quality, infrastructure, hotel availability, transportation, and the overall experience offered to fans and teams. The goal is to rotate the game among different regions and high-quality venues.
*   **Desire for Neutrality and Variety:** The CFP aims to provide a neutral site for the championship game, similar to the Super Bowl. This ensures that neither team has a home-field advantage. Rotating the game among different cities and regions also allows more fans across the country to potentially experience the event. AT&T Stadium would give the Dallas-Fort Worth area more championship games than the CFP would like in its rotation, as the stadium frequently hosts the Cotton Bowl.
*   **Other Major Events at AT&T Stadium:** Jerryworld already hosts numerous major events throughout the year, including Dallas Cowboys games, the Cotton Bowl Classic, major concerts, and other sporting events. Adding the CFP National Championship to its schedule could pose logistical challenges.
*   **Financial Considerations:** The financial arrangements and revenue-sharing agreements between the CFP and the host city/stadium are crucial factors in the selection process. The CFP likely seeks the most favorable financial terms that benefit the organization and its member conferences.
*   **Indoor vs. Outdoor Preference:** While not a hard and fast rule, the CFP has shown a slight preference toward playing the game outdoors if weather conditions permit. This is a nod to the traditional aspects of football, although the practical benefits of indoor stadiums are undeniable.
*   **Date Availability:** AT&T Stadium would have to have the date of the championship game available. Due to the large amount of events held there each year, scheduling is quite complex.
**In summary,** while AT&T Stadium is certainly capable of hosting the CFP National Championship, the game's rotation policy, desire for geographic diversity, bidding process, and logistical considerations mean that it's just one of many potential venues considered each year. It did, however, host the first CFP National Championship in 2015.

Fuck Jerry World. Fuck Jerrah.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened in 2017. Nobody knew shit about Texas joining the SEC until 2021. Their policy is their policy. No Bevo sucks, but there’s no malice behind it.

That said, aggy is already writing fan fiction about how the sips are demanding the SEC Championship Game be moved to Jerryworld. “Open your eyes lame street media! The sips already got SEC Media Days moved!”

There is a retard in this thread writing fan fiction about Bellmont getting involved.

you forgot anyone impersonating a member of the military not actually enrolled in an rotc program

they add logistical complexity we are just not equipped to deal with on gameday

And no weapons allowed either, particularly swords.

if we get to the final this topic is going to become a PR problem for everyone involved

it would be best to get to the truth now inre: who is actually the bitchass

our cow can sit in one of the tunnels, if beLLmont wants him to

if beLLmont will come out and say "we are okay with our mascot being excluded from any stadium we don't control" then the topic is closed

if beLLmont does not counter this "announcement" re: the mercedes-benz bevo embargo, then prima-facie we are not dtf with this decision, or we are rolling over for ______ who?

it's difficult to "move on" from an open question

i want to know who is making this decision

it needs to be documented in writing while the topic is current - we learned this with aggy and their "standing offer" in 2007

Such as….

Yes, let's argue about the functional geography of the Metroplex.  Between all the citing of sources, anecdotes, and personal attacks that'll get this thread at least three more pages.

it really shouldn't be a problem.  they can take Bevo for this game.  Walk him out with the team and get his intro. take him to an area up the tunnels where there is probably a good spot.  ESPN can have some camera shots of him.

we'll be back in 20 days so a good trial run.

Vegas is way better than Arlington, TX or Atlanta, GA. Neither of which are college football hotspots by any means. Better stadium, better city, better food, more hotel rooms, legal betting, and superior titters.

Superior Titters is the best band name of the day... but it's early.

Exactly. Let him stroll through the end zone, only pausing to take a dump across ARIZONA STATE. Turdition.

BEVO XIII leaves the 1999 Big XII Championship game

I don’t understand some football fans. You would rather a game that could potentially feature your team be played 1,000 miles away vs a 4 hour drive because you want to ask the front desk “is this the real Caesar’s palace” and look at some fake tits 10,000 other people have seen that were just on some middle aged dude’s nappy grey beard? Weird……

You spelled "get drunk and play blackjack until dawn" wrong

Round 2 should be a home game for the highest seed again. You have to incentivize those conference championships as much as you can, especially after all the injuries that occurred in CCGs this year. I’ve spent many years in Tempe/Scottsdale, that giant community would rally around a successful football program. I’d probably get to fucked up and miss the game. Imagine Penn State having to play a post season game in Idaho on blue turf, how wacky that would be.

They need to fix the seeding and the game locations. Georgia should be playing in Atlanta. We should playing in Arlington. Rose Bowl got it right.

But yes, Georgia and Oregon admins are probably deeply pissed they didn’t get a home playoff game. That’ll probably be the first fix.
