I'm starting to see how Skattebo went off in the Big 12.

WV (gave up 474 yards to Memphis)

K-State (gave up 401 yards to Rutgers)

Texas Tech (given up 496 yards to Arkansas and it's only the 3rd quarter)

They don't play a lick of defense.

Let us not forget this Tech OL bullied the fuck out of ASU in the run game either

You think these bowl games, with interim coaches and depleted rosters, are a good gage of regular season quality?

yeah, in the context of those teams I do.

Texas Tech fired their DC and West Virginia finished 109th in DFEI. K-State had a decent defense but when DFEI is updated they probably won't even finish top 30. Seeing it in the bowl games just reinforced how bad these defenses are.

Texas is way overdue to go scorched earth in an opponent . . . a game where wide-open receivers are hit in stride, penalties don’t kill drives and the defense is suffocating.  It’s time.

I could let this one wait another game or so.

I feel like a lot of people watched the Big 12 championship game thinking Iowa State's run defense is good.

#103 rushing defense. They're terrible.

The Big 12 sucked ass and doesn’t play defense

I love how this dude says “just do what Georgia did,” then briefly acknowledges that they don’t have anything like the DL talent Georgia has, but says “the point remains.”

I’m not sure the point actually remains, is the thing.

To be fair there was also a few idiots here thinking Clemson D would be competitive because “hurr durr Georgia gave everybody the script”

I would do this for same day travel there and back. The flights are complete horseshit.

I figured they would be a little more successful on run defense, simply because they normally have some solid linemen.

Some posters on this board have taken our offensive struggles to the extreme. We are still good (#17 OFEI) and my bet is we would be near the top 10 if Ewers and wide receivers weren't banged up for the 2nd half of the season.

Maybe just me, but Quinn has done countless press interviews ever since he was in high school, but in today's presser it seemed like it was his first ever?

Did he get some bad news directly before sitting down? He didn't look comfortable at all...kept on looking at something or someone to his right.

It's nbd, just something that stood out to me.

He's always like that. Bit autistic.

It's just like hitting a 100 mph fastball. It's pretty simple when you think about it.

Quinn has never been comfortable in interviews.  He may not be an introvert, but he is definitely not a rah rah camera guy.

He’s a pretty awkward public speaker, but he’d still be better at color commentary than Tom Brady.

Random Question - Does anyone know where/how to watch the Peach Bowl in Bogota, Colombia?  I am in Colombia with the family and it appears that the ESPN App blocks me from watching anything here and most of the locals have not even heard of college football, so I doubt it will be showing many places.
