At what percentage of health? He's been playing hurt for a long time and each time he plays he reaggravates the ankle. It's been a total "Catch 22." He is a difference maker when he has his total speed. If the ankle is gimpy, he's mostly just a decoy, that opposing teams know can't beat them deep, nor can block effectively.

Bond has been practicing and will play.

I fully understand he can play. I read the same tweets.

The question is should he play.

Coming off a bum ankle, another week can’t hurt. We also have the good fortune to be able to allow him another week unless someone else is out.

I see your point. Bond isn’t a productive player when he’s less than 100%. I’ll leave it there.

I agree. But you said surely they'll sit him. They evidently won't be doing that.

The Texas Longhorns got some good news in the injury department Sunday.

According to reports from ESPN's Pete Thamel, Longhorns receiver Isaiah Bond is expected to return to the lineup vs. the Arizona State Sunday Devils in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Day.

Was watching a Sun Devil podcast and they think they have nothing to lose so let it rip. They think only chance they have is Sam Leavitt going wild. So I took a look. He can run and moves well in the pocket. Keeps eyes downfield and can throw ball well off his back foot while evading pressure. Taaffe said he compares him to Marcel Reed but Marcel Reed does not look like any kind of threat to complete a pass once he is on the move. This guy is always a threat down field even under pressure. Putting this here for those that feel like taking a look. Confident Texas will figure him out but he will be a decent challenge.

Do we need to score 50 to win?

He’s Klubnick with less experience and fewer weapons downfield.

Choice says Wisner came in to Texas weighing 177 pounds. Wisner will play in the Peach Bowl at 202 pounds and Choice hopes he is able to get to 210 by the beginning of next season.

I love Wisner and how he's playing, but it's hard for me to believe that he's currently carrying 202 pounds. Maybe he had a big Christmas
