Yeah, I was thinking the same. I'm not sure who I would rather us play. Maybe Oregon?

There are pros and cons to both..

Ohio State:
Cons: Probably can fuck us offensively ala Georgia
Pros: Tends to suck in street fight games (see: Michigan) also Will Howard not so hot against top defenses

Oregon:
Cons: We've seen what Dylan Gabriel can do to Sark with a lesser team so what would he do with a comparable team?
Pros: I'm pretty sure we could run on Oregon much better than Ohio State so if we could put together 4 quarters and protect the ball we can hang in it

No, what I mean is we're behind either of those teams to win it all, but our odds are better than either of those teams to win it all. Sorry, I should have clarified.

I answered it with Pimphand. I meant we're behind whoever wins that game, but we're the odds on favorite to win it all.

None of the games have been played yet on our side of the bracket. Vegas is assuming we beat ASU. That said - tOSU and Oregon only have slightly worse odds to win it all than we do RIGHT NOW despite them both being 50/50 to even make it to the next round.

Imagine you're betting on who is going to win, say, the SEC championship, and, say, Texas has already secured their spot. The winner of, say, Alabama and Georgia will be the 2nd team. Texas SHOULD be the most likely team to win it since there isn't any chance that they don't at least play in the game. You could put your money on Bama or Georgia but they might not even make it to the game.

Sub UO and tOSU for Bama and Georgia - and notice that all 3 teams have very similar odds to make the title game.

Does that make sense?

I want tOSU. I think they're soft and we are better coached and have a better QB.

We show up we win by double digits. ASU is a solid team with a good but inexperienced RS freshman QB and a great college RB but not much else.

If Ewers has it in him to dial in and clean up the inaccurate throws, and put the offense on his shoulders if necessary, now is the time to start showing it. We need 3 great games from Ewers.

Most of all, we need to pay these mother fuckers back for sending us that piece of shit Patterson.

Gotcha. Makes sense.

And yeah, with Will Howard as QB, I think we can get to him. Their o-line is not very good. But they have Jeremiah Smith and Egbuka, and that worries me.

Son bought 4 tickets in the 50 yard nosebleeds for $1,200 from the LHF.

In Atlanta yesterday he discovered those seats are going for $35, so locally he bought two 40 yard line tickets @ $150 each on the club level that are inclusive for drinks & food.

He said that’s the last time he’d buying post season playoff bowl tickets directly from UT.

He & his wife are staying at the JW Marriott in Buckhead across the street from the light rail station. It took them down to about 200 yards from the Peach Bowl stadium.

what Dylan Gabriel can do to Sark

This strikes me as unfair.  What Dillon Gabriel did, he mostly did to PK, who also was pretty seriously undermanned at DB.

This is not to dismiss Gabriel by any means.  He good.  But we are a different and better team than we were then.

Yikes. He needs to learn to read the room better. This was always going to be a "day before" deal type of ticket because ASU isn't a power that travels well, and Texas fans are big game ticket fatigued while looking at the Cotton Bowl semis ticket if they win.

I don’t even want to know where you got your bloody black eyed peas from.

Also, only you youngsters think it’s the NY6 bowls.  The Peach and Fiesta are newcomers.  It’s the big 4 bowls

These days any bowl that isn't hosting a playoff game is just hosting an exhibition between two teams with 25 percent of their rosters sitting out for the draft or portal
