Had a snake in my garage yesterday.  Pretty sure it was a ribbon snake. It was long and thin, long stripes. I tried to grab it but it was too fast.  As far as I know it’s still in the garage.  It needs to vacate ASAP.

It's probably not in your garage anymore. They mostly go in to garages to mate. Most of their feeding/living time is spent in the attached dwelling.

Y’all must think I am crazy, but I want to get some good shots of pit vipers.  Pretty easy to find cottonmouths here, but rattlesnakes are rare. I never see them in central Texas when I am over from Houston.

Only one I have seen was in Big Bend State Park in Closed Canyon.  Juvenile Black Tail.  Focus on its head is really soft.  meh.

Is there a full body iron man suit that I can wear out on the ranch to go hunt these fuckers. I have a feeling I am going to need to murder a bunch this year. I am not going to risk snake boots being enough after seeing that abomination above.

I was spraying some weeds in the yard in sandals and had snek jet out from a bush and across my foot. I'm assuming it was some kind of non poisonous garden snek, but still scared the shit out of me.
