What's the advantage of being nine instead of ten?  Now you're eleven.

I don't get it at all. Especially with a third of the game left.

Same as going for 2 when down 14, there was just an extra FG tacked on.  If you make the first one then you can kick on the 2nd TD to take the lead (after an extra fg in this case).  If you miss the 2 on the first TD, you can make it on the 2nd and you're back to even.  If you miss the 2pt on both TDs, stop sucking.

It's what DKR did in a little game at Arkansas 50 something years ago.

Strategy from an era with much less scoring and no OT.

KState needlessly screwed themselves into needing two TDs right now.

PBP guys sounds a little like our old buddy Dave South.

Except this guy can speak in complete sentences without code names for all the players.  I miss Dave South.  Moreso, I miss being able to mock him when with my aggie coworkers.

Down 14 the risk is much more minimal than what they did.  You know if down 14 and score, if you miss the 2, you're still down 1 possession.   The odds aren't the same with their situation and needing 3 possessions you can get where you have to chase, and that's what they did.  Their risk / reward there was out of whack.

Finally made a 2pt

Would have been an easier throw to #4

I looked like there were 2 wide open k state players. He chose the hardest throw by far.

I must admit, far more entertaining than I was expecting. Also far better than whatever romcom the womenfolk are watching on the big screen.

Kansas State made it way more competitive than it should have been. In the 2nd Q (or 3rd), they showed that K-State was averaging over 9 yards per carry. They immediately threw a pass and then an interception within 3 or so plays. They ran all over Rutgers.

In our defense we sort of learned it from watching you guys.
