Always interesting playing in an old ass baseball stadium. Last year it poured for most of the game and the field wasn’t draining for shit.

And there's the first 1st down of the game for UNC with <30 seconds until halftime.

Followed up by an interception.

Hard to believe these northern baseball stadium games are profitable for anyone.

Could argue that for about 90% of these bowl games.

We played Northwestern in the Pinstripe years ago. James Conner was still playing for Pitt at the time. I will say it was kind of cool to be down on the  field at Yankee Stadium for a while before the game, although it’s not the old Yankee Stadium. Our broadcast booth was the Yankees booth. That meant we were behind home plate, which is for a football layout behind the goal post. Needless to say it was not a great broadcast because you could barely see half the game.

The crowd was a bit, eh. At least we went out to a nice steakhouse after the game.

They’re profitable for the asshole ‘executives’ employed by the bowl…

I can't believe I'd already kind of forgotten about Nick Evers in the pantheon of recent overrated rival QBs. Arnold and Weigman mind of pushed him out of mind. I remember when he was getting the media and school hype out of Norman then hit the field against us in Dallas and looked like a middle school QB.
