I have not been keeping up. Is 2-10 FSU still demanding to leave the ACC as beneath them?

And I get there is a separate lawsuit alleging they are not getting paid enough for the ACC’s quality product.

I can think of the ideal settlement offer but they might want to dig the corn and peanuts out of it first

CU should have gone for 2 after their first TD, no?

You’re only down 3 TD’s and a FG if you execute the conversions….

But that would require a CU stop…. Which idk if they can do.

I can remember some less than stellar behavior from ECU fans once also.

In either case...

I missed it somehow, but when did 5 win teams start getting bowl bids?

LAT replaced Marshall after they bowed out due to opt outs. LAT got it due to proximity to the bowl site

There are so many bowls now that often there aren’t enough 6-6 teams to fill the spot. In this case Marshall was supposed to play but lost their coach and half their squad to the portal and La Tech had to fill in. It goes by graduation rates or something and La Tech was like 5th in the list and were the first to say they could make it in short notice.

Army just dropped a wide open TD pass after Galindo was calling someone on Army Sgt Swole.  That's about all I can take for now, flipping back to the Alamo bowl.

Win or lose, kudos to La Tech for filling in for Marshall.

Still shitty for Army that their “reward” for a great season is a 5 win fill in opponent, especially after the indignity of making them spend time in Shreveport.

Marshall had to opt out because they lost nearly their entire roster to the transfer portal.

La. Tech was a last second replacement

So far they don’t appear bothered by it.

I got a buddy that played in the Independence bowl back when it was the Weedwhacker Bowl.  He said the bowl people went all out and it was an overall great experience.

army just had a 21 play 12:21 second 75 yard drive.   ended in a TD obviously... but holy shit.

Not as good as their previous 21 play drive this season.  I think it took 16:30 off the clock.

I mean that makes sense. There's not a lot to bring people to Shreveport and I imagine it's a pretty important financial boone to the city. So the teams that accepted would understandably be treated really well by the hosts.

It’s a shame ESPN is obligated to cram 10,000 commercials into every broadcast. Otherwise these Army games would be over within two hours.
