18 in SW Austin. All week Wunderground had lows at 22 to 24 for this morning.  Last night I could tell it was going to be colder than predicted, as we kept hitting low temps 2 to 4 hours early.

Yep, about 4-5 degrees cooler than predicted for us no they are showing 19 tomorrow morning in Austin.

My dog loves the cold, but he came sprinting back to the door after he pissed.

Same.  Even in very cold weather he usually likes to explore for a bit in the backyard after doing his pre-dawn business, but today he pissed, looked around and said "nope," and came back to the door.

I laughed my ass off this morning as the dog starting trotting across the yard like he was about to explore, and then a gust of wind hit him. He about-faced and hauled ass to the door.

You rank your kids? How often does it change? How do they feel about it?

Well, it refers to order of birth, but anyone who says they don't have a favorite child is lying.

I grew up riding 16 hours in a car to visit my aunt and grandad and ski in Crested Butte every winter. Jokerville was my first BD!

Man, I am smiling ear to ear. Thanks for the shot of nostalgia

That wasn’t in the damned forecast.

So a plastic table and chairs are the key to coyote prevention, not the spiral staircase.

Every see a coyote sit politely at a table?  Of course not.  Checkmate.

Actually, we still haven't broken everything down from the big frito pie shindig we threw on Saturday.  When the weather was MUCH more pleasant.

Those bumps under Ruby Road are fun!  Best mountain Colorado.  My son's first DD was on the North Face.  It was a proud moment for me.

I left my house (northeast of Tulsa) at 5 am this morning and it was 3°. Got on a plane and landed in Houston at noon and it was 30°. Very dissapointed, would not recommend.

Would not recommend a day that involves being in both Tulsa and Houston?  I get that.

For a couple years I was flying to Bartlesville from Houston doing customer work.... God those were dark times. That tiny ass town with a weird ass hotel that doesn't have any right angles was like going through the looking glass

I have a few CSBs related to her and also a PSA.  Never let a female paint polka dots on your dick with liquid paper while you are on the phone with your parents.  Or any other time for that matter.  That shit burns like fire.

Lol. She was a one of a kind piece of work.  The whiteout thing, I was supposed to be writing an essay to get into UT and she was helping me edit it when things went awry.  When I met this chick and started dating her I was 16, maybe 17. She actually put a hot dog bun under my junk and covered it cheese and proceeded to eat it.  Did I mention she was food obsessed?

Central Austin - Was outside in shorts only and barefoot for 15 minutes. Not even that cold. Feels good to be a true Texan. Just messing with you old folks. But yeah, its not that cold outside.

Pffft. You actually had clothes on?

I polar bear'ed (bare'd) it on my 5 am, 2 mile naked morning jog through the neighborhood.  Also carried a water bottle, not for hydration, but to pour over myself every few hundred yards. Barely got chilly.

Denver is currently -2

It will be 60+ degrees by Monday

Biopolar  bitch.

Was there on Monday and Tuesday when it was snowing a ton and never got above 20 degrees (and was in the single digits/teens most of the time). It was colder, but more comfortable, than the 20 degrees in Austin with the wind and humidity, if that makes sense.

Windless, dry cold >>>> windy, humid cold

Humid cold feels like the cold seeps into your bones. The wind makes it unbearable.

Even when it's cold in Denver, the sun is usually out and makes it feel much warmer if you aren't in the shade.  I walked the dog yesterday, it was like 22 or something, but the sun was shining and I actually got a little too warm in my coat.
