I've been consolidating accounts and just rolled over a couple of 401ks from old jobs into an IRA. Now I'm on the fence about whether to just reinvest everything in VTSAX now, wait on the market to tank more and then reinvest, or do it in chunks of 10% at a time. I know that timing the market is normally a fools errand, but this seems like a bad time drop a bunch of money into an index fund. Thoughts?

My primary screener in my trading accounts (unless you are BRK) right now is dividend yield. I am not really interested in hodling unless you are kickoff off cash to reinvest.

Have you heard about OMAH from VistaShares? Just opened up this month, I was looking to eventually add it to a Yieldmax, Kurv, NEOS account I've been amassing.

Can you repost this in English?

Buffet day from Omaha is going to be interesting this year. I was going to pass but I might go again before it becomes the Greg and Ajit show.

At some point I need to either unload all my Nvidia or just forget about it and let it ride.

Alright, 25% of the way through the year already. Hope everyone is making progress on their goals. If you got an update, feel free to share.

With this paycheck being the mortgage paycheck, and April 2nd being our new Independence day Tariff Liberation Day, I will not have as many bullets in the chamber to buy whatever dip/fall may occur. My plan is to check around 10 am and if I see any rounding at the bottom put some orders in, or if it is free-falling then wait until 2pm or 230pm to buy. I'd expect a bounce Thursday. Friday I think everyone is expecting a negative job number, so not sure how much red that would deliver if everyone gets ahead of the news on wednesday.

Goals have been adjusted.  Still putting a shitload of money away.  I just have much lowered expectations on returns.

I'm pouring money into a sinking market with the hope that in 10 years, maybe we've recovered and I "bought low."

1.  Max most of my 401K in the first 3 months of the year then lower take out percentage through the year to get full max contribution from employer.

2.  Get 6 plus gain in market

3.  Save 75K plus in cash by lowering expenses

4.  Last day of work at worst December 31st 2025 for retirement.

After Q1, looking great on of these except the market gain.

I don't remember what my goals were, but quite certain that at this moment I am less in cash, more market invested, less exp[osure to SPY, and trying to move everything reasonable over to high dividend domestics and BRK.
