It was right at the beginning of the play. The TE next to the right tackle basically moved back and then forward, but wasn't set long enough before the receiver started moving.

These calls have all been technically correct.  The big12 is showing off their ability to spot tiny errors, but only on one team.

Why should a defender get penalized on a very poor thrown ball? Catchable ball is a thing when it comes to determining PI. WR had no chance at that ball.

Think one of the biggest things they could do to help defenses the game has completely been tilted against is make a simple change to “no PI on underthrown balls”

Nice theory but uncatchable isn't really a thing anymore.  Maybe 1 in 1000.  ASU got a PI against Manny last night on a ball that was 10 yards out of bounds

It wasn’t a great throw but it literally hit the defender in the back while the defender is hitting the receiver. If the guy turns his head around it’s a no call. Every poster on here would be pissed if that wasn’t called on a Texas WR.

The defender doesn't have to turn if he avoids contact.  Kaiser needed super brakes.

Is it different in college than the pro or did they change the rule? I feel like I remember catchable or uncatchable coming into play in the past. You are right, not often but it did.

I feel like offenses are getting good at baiting defenses into penalties these days, especially PI.

I hate that fucking call. QB gets bailed out by a well underthrown ball that he was not going to catch at all no matter what the defender was doing. Seems to have been a trend for awhile now. Underthrow the ball and get bailed out by PI. Defender didn't turn his head but the WR jumped in the air on a ball underthrown that he wasn't catching.

Stfu man, that’s our offense!
