I gave my props elsewhere, but I will post it here

But seriously - all props to Skattabo, the guy played his guts out. He talked a ton of shit, and then went out in the 2nd half and put his team on his shoulders. Hats off to the guy.

ASU and Skattebo were legit.

Yeah Dillingham shouldn’t leave for anything less than a blue blood. So that leaves OU. Not ideal, but I think they have some recruiting disadvantages in the modern era that will be difficult to overcome.

they are 100 miles from Dallath.

You guys were worthy of a bye. Worthy of CFP. Great coach.

Skattebo may be the toughest dude to play CFB in the last ten years. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Respect from this Longhorn fan.

Who are you talking to?

I saw a story on Dillingham awhile back; I think he grew up 15 mins from ASU and went to school there.  All his immediate family live close too, I don’t think he’d make a move.

plenty of chances for them to give up and no matter what anyone says about how Texas played the damn D is legit for Texas and has been solid all season

bu ASU still managed to fight back against that and score and they did use a few "trick plays", but they executed them and they just plain executed their other regular plays too in order tog et back in the game and be there to possibly win it at the end

if Texas did not have the talent, the beast of a TD and a lot of desire they would have rolled over and lost in OT......ASU got Texas to that point with their play

Who did Quinn get out played by?

Leavitt looked pretty salty a few times when he made something happen while running for his life, but he didn’t outplay Quinn.   Quinn didn’t really look great today until the end but he sure as shit didn’t  get out played by Leavitt.

Quinn wasn’t outplayed by anyone. But he did his business at the start and the end. His first two and last 3 passes. 4 of which were scores (3x TD and the 2 pt conversion). Don’t forget the run for a TD.

Lol respect to asu for our team shitting the bed, again

for special teams still not being fixed, again

for quinn still not taking the next step, again

for muhammed and guillbeau still looking lost out there, again

for sark being extremely predictable on offense, again

for the OL still playing like bitches and getting loads and loads of dumbass penalties, again

for sark abandoning the running game in the second quarter, again

but sure, props to asu for hanging with us despite the fact we made zero adjustments over the past 10 days

Not sure I respect Dillingham putting Skattebo back out there w/ an obvious concussion, but hey - gotta win that game!  To be fair, Skattebo played much better after the knock, but I bet he won't remember a bit of it tomorrow.

I completed half my degree at ASU. They’re a sleeping giant. Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe is behind them heavily. I wouldn’t be surprised if  they become a playoff regular.

That's more than most people complete there.  Kudos.  😀

ASU played as hard as they could the whole 60 minutes while we didn’t, so I’ll give them that. They are a one pony trick though when the dust clears. They do have a solid coach and seem to have solid support. They should be pretty tough for a while in the Big 12.

Yeah props for what? Texas shitting all over themselves and giving the game away as hard as they could and ASU not winning?

ASU dominated TOP and every other key metric pretty much and still couldn’t win when they had about 50 more plays on offense than we did.

Also texas missing 2 game winning FGs.

they were whiny bitches all game and skattebo didn’t do anything until they had a 50 play advantage on our defense towards the latter half of the 3rd quarter.

In all fairness, our TOP in the beginning was fucked due to a very quick offensive score followed by a punt return for 6.

by far the best run we had, our running backs ran like pussies today.

Leavitt played a pretty shitty game outside of what he could do with his legs.

Skattebo was the real deal and almost won the game by himself.

I believe Skat played most of the latter part of that game concussed.  If so, ASU should be ashamed - and then admit another 15k students into their "digital immersion" programs.

We got pressure on him a lot early.  Excellent at avoiding taking a big sack.  So-so at doing anything with it after he gets away.

They struggle to fill a 50,000 seat stadium. The Valley is most certainly not behind them heavily.

Nah fuck those chirping bitches.  We got out coached, yeah.  Outplayed?  Don't think so.  We had as many big plays as they did.  I am surprised Southwest shut down #4 and we couldn't.  NFI how that can happen TBH.

He clearly couldn't handle playing in the bright lights of Bobcat Stadium on a Thursday night -- moment was too big for him.

ASU's receivers weren't getting open.  It is what it is.  They were very reliant on Jordyn Tyson and Jordyn Tyson is injured.  They have a 1st or 2nd round WR and couple guys who are alright, but not dudes who are going to get open consistently like a secondary like Texas has.

Was that play where the lineman picked up Skatteboo and slung him into the end zone legal?

No, but it's not called often.  Basically an ignore it call more often than not.

Thank God I just had a heart ablation procedure done a couple of weeks ago.

Hey, I’m trying to get an earlier appointment for that procedure.
Are you doing better now?

To stay on topic:

ASU must’ve read all the Surly pregame trash talk and papered their locker room with it.

Push hard to get it done ASAP. Mine was life changing. Haven’t had to worry about having a stroke at any minute since it was done 5 years ago.
