That dude is destined for a very short career in football. He's willing to sacrifice his body in ways that most others are not, but he's not going to survive long at the next level dropping his head and trying to bulldoze everyone in sight.

Reminds me in some ways of Bob Sanders - college at Iowa, short 6 year NFL career with Colts.

tbh, he's a good, not great player. He can bully his way in the Big XII with lesser athletes, but he was shown that he can't just do that against elite teams. I know he got over 100 yards, but he was visibly pissed. He didn't realize how bigger, faster, and stronger we are.

I would take Jeanty over him all day, no questions asked. Jeanty will be playing in the NFL, who Scataboo will be on the sidelines hoping to subbed in. Big, physical backs like him aren't uncommon. That's what the NFL is. He's just another guy who has done the same thing every NFL guy has done. He has no special traits.

He's a sixth or seventh round draft pick that will struggle to get off the practice squad.  That whole "hard to get down" shit will evaporate once he's staring down NFL caliber defenses.

Sounds like the same thing people said about the midget, but he’s still going strong. Hard to say how he’ll do because it will depend on the team that drafts him but I can see him doing well enough to stay in for 4 years or so.

Tessitore creaming himself on skatteboos last TD while ignoring that it was just because his lineman literally picked him up and put him in the end zone was annoying. And I still can’t figure out what the fuck Muhammad was doing on his TD pass

Muhammad’s reaction/response was weird and as low effort as I’ve seen all season. The secondary is going to have their hands full next game and will need to have their A game.

Speaking of that, could Texas please have their first complete game next game? 🙏 🤘🏼

F that guy.  Acting like a cocky bitch when something went this way, then, scowling when something didn't.  In the first quarter he pushed one of his teammates after not converting a 3rd (or 4th) down.  He had 38 effing touches.  I  think I'd get over 200 yards with 38 touches.

You wouldn't make it to the 3rd touch

Should've picked his limpwristed bullshit off, he committed OPI on his big catch, and if our offense plays competent ball and puts drives together or doesn't throw picks on 2nd & 4 while we're trying to kill clock, he doesn't get 18 touches in the second half.

HOWEVER

Our fuck ups allowed him an opportunity to turn his mediocre day into an epic day, so props to him for converting that opportunity. He's a bit of a badass, props to that dude. Epic day for him.

This. Let's not act like our shitty play didn't help him out, along with the refs. We've played 20 guys this year better than him.

He had 242 yards rushing and receiving, and threw a td pass. How many backs had 242 total yards against Texas this year? He doesn’t suck.

I'm not saying he sucks. Where did I say that? I said he's good, not great. He's nothing the NFL doesn't have. He possess nothing the league doesn't already. Jeanty, OTOH has speed, agility, and is a much better baxk, hence why he won the Doak. Scataboo is a good college back, but he's just one in a million in the league. He's not going to get drafted before free 3rd rd, and maybe even eve 4th rd. He possess nothing that jumps out other than he can bowl through guys. Who can't do that in the NFL?

Meh, he is a good player, but a properly officiated game takes a big chunk out of his stats. Can’t get over what a douche he is and how he and his QB were having fits blaming everyone but themselves in the early part of the game.

As that settled down, he was still a bit of a cunt and AZ has quite a few on their team, especially our castaway Troy notgonnaworkhere.

MVP should have been Ewers or the defense.

That MVP was AZSt consolation prize.

Fuck him. He ran against an exhausted defense because Sark and the offense couldn't get first downs. They more than doubled Texas in plays from scrimmage at the end of the third quarter. He got stuffed back into his own asshole when Texas was fresh. He's a good player. Tough dude. But pretty pathetic to watch so many people glaze his knob. Fuck him.

Not a great angle in that clip. Review team probably would say it's not indisputable that the teammate was trying to "assist in forward progress" because their momentum was carrying them in that direction, and whatever was going on with their arms was incidental to them trying to break their own falls. I need to see it again, because there were some angles where it looked pretty questionable.

And then Tessitore wanted to act like he did a ninja backflip with a Texas DT wrapped around him. The Paul Bunyan mythology was in full swing. He was purely out of his element and outclassed when Texas' defense wasn't gassed. Tough player. His frontal lobe will be leaking out of his ears within 200 carries in the NFL.

This dude proved he’s not an every down back in this game.

also that throw was horrendous and Muhammad was literally more lost than that wounded duck of a ball.

but congrats to him on his mvp. He was annoying to play and it was great to test the defense and give them something to be angry about going into the cotton bowl

The dude with almost 100 receiving yards can't play on 3rd downs?

This is the 2023 NCAA Rulebook

There's also a section on Targeting, and why it wasnt called on Taaffe. He didnt intend to attack with the helmet. He was going for a standard tackle with his arms in the wrap motion milliseconds after the helmets collided.
