Forget about the blue blood talk for a minute... this final four is the Haters Ball.

Who is more despised in college football than Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas? Maybe Bama but it's not the same since Saban bolted.

You forgot USC but they’ve sucked for a little while now. But they’ll be back. Probably after they replace Riley. And Miami for mostly the same reasons.

Yeah dude USC and Miami are legit.

Miami just had a generational fucking QB  and still should have lost at least 3 games. I think USC was a lot better than their record but I don't think that their fanbase cares about football.

SMU is going to be better going forward than SC or Miami. ND is going to be a LOT better. Shit - you pump some money into a school like UNC with Belichick as HC and they could surprise.

Money talks and the programs that are taking advantage of it and funneling it into the right channels are about to enjoy a lot of success. The programs that think that they can just keep showing up and winning because their helmets are pretty are in for a rude awakening. Throw Bama into that mix.

This is a very different landscape that we're entering.

We need to fix our blocking when teams slant against our outside zone. We have to be able to punish that. Anything else is just a band aid on a schematic problem.

This!  We run too many long developing runs and the opposing teams are ultra aggressive getting into the backfield instead of staying in their gap.  We need to just go forward to get started off.  Then do the motion stuff.

I'm hopeful that Sark will actually take some chances and be aggressive offensively in this game.

I thought the same thing about Ryan Day when he played Michigan this season. I thought for sure he’d learned from his mistakes of the last few years. He hadn’t.

I told everyone who would listen that in his next game they would be asking, “Where was this team when they played Michigan?!” I’ve seen this movie before. He coaches differently when he plays against Michigan than he does against other teams.

I’m not worried that he’s going to coach scared against Texas. I expect him to coach the same way he has in the games since then. If I were a Texas fan then I’d expect Sark to coach the same way as always.

And that's fair.  The most important coaching matchup in this game is Pete vs Chip anyway.

Tigers dont change their stripes. This includes day. He wasn't afraid of Tennesse bc they were coming to their house. He knew how they failed at OU. He has nothing but tape on UT. The tape is so chaotic, good luck day.

Be afraid, very afraid. Do you get jeykl or Hyde?

I predict PAIN.

Shut this fuck up and take your bitch fest to dm. Nobody fucking cares.

tOSU is going to regress to the norm. We will feel disrespected and if I had to pick a team to ride with, it would be the one that is told they suck by everyone (including their own fans) that is filled with top end NFL talent. I love this match up.

I know a bunch of Ohio State fans.   Good people, but arrogant and passive aggressive when it comes to their football team.   Fuck all of them.   We are going to curb stomp them and then watch them piss down their leg when we ruin their 2025 season on opening day.

This kid is probably about 19 or 20 now, and maybe a student at Ohio State.  Hopefully, he gets to re-live this early formative nightmare:

How old do you suppose this kid is now and what’s his surly handle?  😝

Passive?  I think we've met different buckeye fans.

Wrt comparing this game to the 2006 NC game, we only had one true 5 star, once in a generation player, VY, but SC had two, Reggie and Matt.

VY will probably rate as the best player in two or three generations when it's all over.   How did we achieve victory in '06? On the verge of being toast until our DL stopped Lendale White on fourth and one.  Victory will be determined by the unheralded players.  This game will be determined by the lines of scrimmage players and whichever team gets better luck on turnovers.  I hope the media keeps up the bulletin board material.  One a day would be great.

Re stopping Lendale, seems I remember a Cornerback or Safety unexpectedly getting in on the action in a big way???

Just watched the Michigan Ohio St highlights.

Michigan successful runs were always on the outside or within the guards.

so they weren't stopped. they ran inside and outside. good to know. we shall do the same sir.

Just watched the tape. We’re good. Oregon didn’t show up. J Smith is a boss but Will Howard is still a guy named Will fucking Howard - aka not a champion. Our D just needs to not bust coverages, and OSU’s lack of proper upbringings will lead to mistakes from lack of character.

Look yall - Texas is and has been an opponent every other team gets up to play. Been the case for as long as i can remember (circa 99/00). Do we get up for everyone like we should? No and yes its frustrating AF. There are very few teams/games that we ourselves get up to play. Do we win them all, of course not. But we FUCKING always show up (show me a non-hOeU blowout). I promise you i dont give a fuck how well OhSt plays they’re gonna have a hell of fight on their hands next Friday night in Dallas cause you got our attention mf’ers…which you best believe, means you’re gonna get our absolute best!

The same can be said about Ohio State.  That's part of why we're both Bluebloods.

Looking forward to a great game.  I'm hoping for another fast start but it will be a challenge.  If Knowles can confuse Ewers in the same manner he confused Gabriel and Ima-whatever I like our chances.

I’ve decided that Sark is gonna air it out and let QE sling the ball in an open spread attack, the Tree Seeds won’t see it coming and Texas rolls. You heard it here first.

Longhorns 38

Tree Seeds 27

I’m for it. Throw it to open up the run. Let the dude sling it 40+. We are not overpowering them in the run game
