I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you 15? How about you just stick to facts or at the very least try to make an argument.

You are projecting. You already admitted you haven't followed this situation closely. There is plenty of evidence to counter your argument, nobody wants to take the time to post it though.

I posted an article just above with analysis of the video provided by a professional film intimacy coordinator - not one of you chucklefucks who are just looking to get angry about some random actress. Perhaps you ignored it because you're only looking for posts that call Blake Lively a dumb cunt?

edit - and to set this sad, pathetic record straight, you said I was "prejudice." I told you to look up the definition. I get the feeling you still don't understand the meaning and why and how you misused the term.

I think you're actually the one projecting. You've already mentioned you're giving Baldoni the benefit of the doubt because you share the same "faith" and that somehow you're magically able to determine what the "public opinion" is. Do you get that ability from your faith, too? The sentence you quoted was me castigating some moron who thinks he knows more than a professional in the industry, and who can't be bothered to educate himself and deal with actual facts to counter someone's professional opinion.

Take a breath, man.

That post you're referring to I explicitly said I initially believed LIvely's accusations, partly because  he is so vocal about his faith.

You're right. I misremembered because you followed that up with, "But then the accusations were countered with actual evidence, and it's clear that Lively is a real piece of shit." But the fact is, there has not been any actual evidence that supports Baldoni. I believe it's just as the professional intimacy coordinator said - the producer/director took liberties that he shouldn't have during filming of the movie. She was quite clear in her conclusion and she gave reasons why.

Btw what I was asked last night was whether I watched the Heard/Derp trial closely. My answer was no. I've followed this little scandal fairly closely since the NYT article came out. It seems like a lot of you here haven't even bothered to read it, let alone what the "intimacy coordinator" had to say.

Chopper you seem to put a lot of faith in intimacy coordinators

My not CSB - For some reason this reminds me of the time in high school when I was 15 or 16 and one of my best friends (from back since we were toddlers) called and said his dad wanted him to go to a (damn it I wish I could remember the job title) sex professional because he was a virgin and was unsure of his sexuality. I'm pretty sure he had concluded he was gay, and his dad said, take this shot with this hot blonde and then tell me you're gay. He wanted me to go see her too, because for whatever reason, he would feel less awkward that way. The woman had been on the Carson show and was some sort of sex counselor/coach. I said no because I didn't get the logic, was not uncertain of my (hetero) sexuality but mostly because I was dumb and awkward as hell.

Anyway - intimacy coordinators are the professionals whose job it is to deal with scenes involving intimacy to make sure it's a "safe space" for everyone, esp actresses. Some of you seem to have never heard of Harvey Weinstein. They have a lot of training for the roles they perform. Read the fucking article. Look up the profession on wiki. Read some job descriptions and the training required, including certification.

I'll wait for the response. I think in something like this that's just so much he said/she said, if you're pushing out the plaintiff's POV even before the defendant has replied, you've already made up your mind.

Baldoni's lawsuit is filled with a lot of evidence and text messages. It is thorough.

Lively's team initially accused Baldoni via the NYT and wanted this to play out in the court of public opinion. I think they thought Baldoni would lay down, but he fought back. The response so far from Lively's legal team is requesting a gag order. They fucked around and found out.

You're looking at what's happened and with literally every action you're concluding it somehow weighs against Lively. The requested gag order is against the attorney for Baldoni - not for Baldoni himself. If she wanted it to play out just in the court of public opinion, why then was she the first one to file a lawsuit? And why would she take steps to stop the attorney from speaking out if she wanted it all in the court of public opinion.

Also, wow, Baldoni sued. That must also be a knock against Lively /s Also, wow, Baldoni released video that he tried to spin for the gullible fucks among us. More points for Baldoni.

I'm sorry I stumbled into this shit thread last night in a bid to take my mind off yesterday's atrocities in DC and thinking I might have a bit of fun playing devil's advocate. I'll remove myself now.

And that scene was set up and orchestrated by intimacy coordinator they already had hired for the film. From the start of filming.

She tried to insinuate this scene was done without an intimacy coordinator , Sony and the production company have the receipts to prove she is lying.

Um no shitbbrain. There was no "intimacy" in that scene therefore an intimacy coordinator was not present and did not review the scene with the actors. There were intimacy coordinators hired for the production buy they had nothing to do with the scene what's his face released.

Normally if you were going to shoot a scene where characters are kissing, would you discuss that beforehand?

An intimacy coordinator would. But there’s two main reasons why people bring on an intimacy coordinator: either simulated sex or nudity. Anything else that could be considered intimate, we’re not always present or required. In a scene like this, it’s really common that you wouldn’t bring on an intimacy coordinator because there’s no simulated sex or nudity, and there’s not even kissing written into the scene. We saw that from that script excerpt. I know that there were two intimacy coordinators credited on this film, but it doesn’t surprise me at all that they wouldn’t have had an intimacy coordinator present for this scene. An intimacy coordinator would have been very clear: “We’re not doing any kissing. This is the kind of touch that is on the table. Nothing else is, we’re not going to bring anything into the scene that we haven’t discussed prior.”

Please stop quoting me and go back to the circle jerk you were having before I foolishly stepped in this thread. Thank you.

edit - in going back to find the THR article I saw that I missed answering a request you had to watch "The Popsters" (??) podcast. I started it but that shit's just not for me.

BL on Birth scene:

Many unauthorized people on set. She was naked from the neck down with only a cloth to cover her vag. Director invited his buddy to play the OB/GYN, and one of the financiers of the film just happened to show up for the scene.

The truth, because they filmed it:

BL wearing black briefs, a hospital gown from the neck down and a full pregnancy suit.

The buddy Dr is a throughly trained actor with tons of accomplishments.

The money guy wasn’t even there.

Why do you feel so invested in this?

If Baldoni were in the right, there'd be no need for him to spin and lie, would there?

Which particular response from Sony? Where they said, "We have previously expressed our support for Blake in connection with her work on and for the film. We fully and firmly reiterate that support today,” a spokesperson for Sony told Variety in a Monday, December 23, statement. “Further, we strongly condemn any reputational attacks on her. Any such attacks have no place in our business or in a civil society.”

anyways, i did pay more attention to the Depp/Heard case and my opinion of her being a crazy lying bitch came from listening to the insane recordings of their fights (that she made!), her behavior in the courtroom, and her direct testimony on the stand. she came across about as sincere as Ted Cruz. not to say Depp came out much better, and his career is in shambles anyway...but he definitely won that case fair and square. she came across as downright evil in some of those exchanges. so, you know...sometimes it's not misogyny, sometimes we really are just a crazy bitch.

i don't really know much about Lively other than a handful of movies, she could indeed be a raving narcissist, i don't know. and i've never been a big RR fan...i didn't even know he had amassed such a huge fortune outside of Hollywood until all these recent headlines. i really only watched him in Deadpool b/c those are the only Marvel movies i've enjoyed. i guess we'll see how this plays out.

Now you're grasping at straws, but I suppose you can use them to fill your strawmen. I'm sure they too are misogynistic. You don't actually know how dumb you've made yourself look, do you? Might want to head back to CR or whatever weird as sub threads you typically hang out in.

Logic and facts trump rhetoric, emotional name calling, and general dumb fuckery. This isn't Facebook but there us a thread about that shit shit too.

Have fun and remember, better to keep your mouth closed and let them think you a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

Yes, having impressions based on what you've read is "weird." Next time a hollywood gossip matter comes up I'll be sure to ask you for the contact number for the fella who's briefing you. edit - to see a bunch of men attacking some random woman that they don't know certainly raises "issues" and is problematic. We absolutely saw the same misogynistic bullshit with Heard as we've seen with Lively, whether one was in the right or not. "Oh my god she tried to give out the web address for her skin care line. What a whore!" "Oh my god she slept with _____. What a sleaze!" Get fucked.

I've actually worked with Amber.  She was an entitled, egotistical bitch ...and that was before she was famous.

Amber was a terror way before she ever became an actress in Hollywood. She’s lucky she was a minor when some of her shitty behavior happened so her name couldn’t be released to the public.

Yeah, I got a long with her ok based on the Austin connection (and I was her boss), but she was a handful.

Plus, she had a creepy, weird relationship with her dad.  Not saying there was something going on but not saying there wasn't either.

“I’ve been working on something, yes, for the last number of months, but I can’t talk about that right now,” said Moore in a recent interview with Deadline. He later teased, “I’ll have some interesting stories to tell when I can speak about it, like what the heck Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer, and Blake Lively have to do with me trying to make a movie…”

@Hank Kingsley

my participation on this thread has not been serious heretofore (though i have thought about a threesome with blake and amber before and i do have a velvet tux now) but having actually read a couple of posts, it seems like you have really spent a lot of time with this. I don't question your enthusiasm for the issue but for someone like me ready to jump in and make a judgment on who should live and who should die in this situation, I have noticed that you have been pretty emphatic in the last few pages that the most recent evidence on this has pretty clearly painted blake as the aggressor and abuser that stands in the wrong and that baldoni is somewhat vindicated.

i am not disputing said conclusion at all but, while i acknowledge i may have completely just missed it in my review of the thread, i can only recall you making reference to said evidence but haven't shared it. can you point me to what you are relying on to reach such emphatic conclusions? i fear if i go looking for it myself, i will be exposed to a bunch of nonsense before inevitably finding my way to the blake nudes she sent to affleck during "the town."
