To be fair, Florida oranges are fucking delicious.

Growing up in Vero Beach we had a half tangerine half/navel orange grafted tree in our backyard that had the best oranges I’ve ever tasted.   Indian River County knows how to grow some citrus.

Penn St will feel good about their year, but I'm not sure they really beat a good team - SMU and Boise St I guess although those teams helped out a lot.

Neither of those teams are close to NC caliber. This was the easiest path they'll ever have.

Could you imagine if the head coach at Texas did this?

Are you familiar with Charlie Strong?

No they won’t. This is no better than just missing the national championship all those years they were the 2nd or 3rd best team in the big ten. Still the same thing. 2nd or 3rd best team in the big ten. Still a few players and a good coach short of a national championship. There’s nothing to feel good about with this playoff run.

if Allar is even decent they win this game easily.

Notre Dame band should play outside the Franklin press conference going on right now just to piss him off.

Charlie wasn't around long enough to amass that record.

Yeah but if you’re batting 0.067 in mlb you’re considered…. Unman …. Shitty too.

Would be awesome for them if we beat the Bucknuts because then aggy can claim to have played both teams in the CFP final (and lost to both).

It really makes them 10 - 2 since those two loses become strong moral victories.

There were actually podcasters speculating the NFL might try to entice Allar not to go back to school because he's the clear number 1 QB.

what an awful draft year for QBs.

What a load of bullshit. That guy is a limp wrist Kerry Collins.

It’s how we refer to them. They are the Nittany Lions. So we say, Nitters. Or Nambly Lions from Crappy Valley.

The NItters. This isn’t hard. This isn’t racial. I’ve explained it here before.

They are the Nittany Lions. So we call them Nitters. Don’t look for something that isn’t there.

Penn State owned the first half and was up 10-3, then let concussed Riley Leonard waltz down the field to open the second half with zero resistance.

Drew Allar sucks ass. I hope it turns out it was really him on that escort boat a few hours before kick

Well, that was something.  Just got home from watching with some buddies.  Holy shit.

One more semi-final to go.

The cfb playoffs have been fun, I don't want them to end.

Yeah maybe just call them Pedo State or something.  Then everyone will know exactly which derogatory term you're utilizing.

Eh, Nitters rolls off the tongue much easier. I’ve never, in my life, used the one that people may want to think I mean so I’m not worried about that.

Nittany + NAMBLA = Nambly

It was funnier when it seemed like a slur. You ruined my night.

The Nitters ran for 140 yards in the first half, 64 in the second.

It's been brought up a bunch but I get more impressed with Freeman almost (not NIU) every time I watch ND. That's a pretty telling stat with respect to second half adjustments.

Have to admit, those sorts of stats give me pause in a possible future opponent. By that everyone knows I mean the 3rd quarter.

I'm eager to hear the explanation.  PSU beat us to the punch on the lines in the first qtr, and then re-emerged in the 4th almost as well.  But we seemed to wake up at half time, maybe the coaches told the defense not to worry about the WRs

He managed to top it a couple minutes later with his "Notre Dame needs to make sure not to score a touchdown too early!" bleating when they were on the 37 with 29 seconds left.

Well it's 2 parts really. First, Texas has been hurribad at halftime adjustments all year. Our 3rd quarters have been...um less than productive.

Second not related to my first post Franklin, sadly somewhat like Sark, tends to go away from things that are working well. "Over thinks" his offense and wants to check certain boxes cause..  who knows why but probably ego
