That fucking unsportsmanlike against Helm for pointing at a player is fucking bullshit. I will think about that until dementia hits me.

Also, yet another fucking game Wingo get 3 balls thrown his way. For such a "specimen" and a Roy Williams clone, Sark/Ewers don't seem use for anything other than blocking.

That one handed catch  Y Golden was fucking phenomenal.

The unsportsmanship penalty was bullshit. But it it was also stupid. Our players need to know that we are going to get fucked on those calls if we give them a chance. Completely unforced error

What qualifies as great is bringing Texas back. Two semis, all Quinn Ewers. Ten years and shit, then Quinn and we ball.

Quinn deserves our appreciation, gratitude, and respect.

Gratitude sure but he ain’t great. Better than strong ain’t great. Better than cocaine tits herman ain’t great. He is good and I appreciate that but he was never going to get us there. He doesn’t have IT. And that’s fine to say. He is good but not national championship caliber, not many are. C’est la vie.

I’m beginning to think Tebow as a commentator is fueled by reasons other than common sense.

Why his analysis tonight is spot on. They showed the two turnovers and Tebow was visibly frustrated the second INT didn’t matter and the fumble? Tebow was the only one to point at Cam. Sawyer blew right by him, and on fourth down. that shit is only one Cam.

7 points in the first half. 7 pts in the second. A mobile QB with a strong arm, Manning, gets you an additional 10 each half, minimum. That would be Texas 34 with our D.  OSU wouldn't have stood a chance.

We could be heavily favored against ND next week.

Guess Sark decided he could win it all this season without a mobile QB  - a completely stupid assessment which he forced on this team and its fans. With all the other stupid calls he's made this year, it looks like he still has some things to learn about football (underscored by that lateral from the one). He can call an offense at a fairly high level, but he needs an OC to give him time to absorb all the other shit - when to kick FGs, and when to punt, for example. He could still second guess his OC. It's a win-win situation.

That was 1000% a championship caliber defense. That’s probably going to be my biggest regret about the season. We didn’t win when we had those guys.

The offense wasn’t great tonight, but they played just well enough to sneak out a win. The difference was the coaching, and that wouldn’t have been my first guess as the reason for losing going into tonight.

I didn’t say better than strong. I said back to back top five finishes. No he isn’t Colt or Vince but where Texas finished the last two years? Better than strong? How about better than every fucking program in college football except two.

True. But even if cam stops him, there was nobody to throw to. Helm was double covered and that’s where the ball was going.

I’m aware. My comment was more based on how he delivers his opinions in the jungle of “professional” opinionators. Hopefully he will improve over time with experience.

I saw him put the tram on his shoulders and lead them to the only TD of the 3rd quarter.

If the defense didn't pass down their leg right before half we would have been driving to win and just kicked a field goal.

14 points in the cfp with multiple self sacks and a fumble to lose it. So yeah, you do you.

Not sure what you mean, in the end it’s just a game.

I mean I kind of get what you are saying. That the problems are just what we are going to see forever more because this is the Sark way and it is just going to be that way. Quinn or no Quinn.

But I don't know. We have had Quinn the past three years and Sark has only been here four years and the personality and talents of the QB can be a big influence. Plus it is only Sark's 4th year. The tendencies of the first two years have no necessarily been the tendencies of the past two. Maybe still can learn a thing or two.

So I am not quite ready for all the doom and gloom.

He’s done it a few times lately and I kept waiting for it to be called. He thought he could get away with it after not being called on it in previous games and it finally was at the worst time.

This game was very winnable and the final score does not indicate how close this game really was.  It was a very good season and thankful to have attended the Clemson game with that electric crowd.   I think OSU is the best team remaining and I truly feel we could have beat ND.  I will miss Texas football and at the same time it was a hell of a ride and great to be playing in Jan once again.  Let’s hope next week we can play one more week.  Let’s load up in the portal this spring and fill the holes for another run. Win in Columbus and rewrite the 2005 championship run.  Hook’em.

That's what's most frustrating to me -

Last year, Penix plays the game of his life and makes unbelievable throw after throw, and we still have a chance to win it (and think we'd match up really well against Michigan)

This year, I think we'd match up well against ND.

What could have been.

I bet we end up #3 when all is said and done. tOSU mowed through their opponents and then they met their match. You know that will go into it. Yeah, we lost by 2 TD's, which one was a freak play and it should have been 21-14 at the end, but it is what it is.

Lmao this is the hard hitting analysis I come here for.

What? It is hardly some kind of new revelation that a mobile QB drastically improves an offense. If they are constantly worrying about him keeping it on the RPO it can really open things up for the running game for example.

Sark, Ewers, and PK should give their money back.  Also Ewers future is selling insurance. He doesn't have the skills needed to quickly process what's going on, but he can look at a computer and swindle you out of your money.

Except the issue was whether he was great. That’s what you said, great. And Better than chuck cocaine tits ain’t great. Least not without more!

and again, even by your metric, better than two?  Your math ain’t mathin. Last year it was two, this year it was two. So at least 4 if not more if you want to be all arguable about it (which I’d agree we are Better but at that hypothetical point it’s all conjecture)

I have a feeling Ohio State is gonna boat race Notre Dame.

Same here, but I want ND to win just so I can imagine that maybe we would've lost to ND if we got there. Plus, Ryan Day looks like the ventriloquist dummy villain in all my nightmares.

I think I was responding to someone else. Look, QE couldn’t overcome sark. arch might, but if you look at it critically you can decipher whether it’s QE, the play calling, the run scheme, the OL play. I think sark will get his championships but he’s going to need a transcendent QB. Sark is not winning a title with a good enough QB. Ohio state is about to win a title with a QB that’s good enough. Why? Because in big games Ohio state can run the ball. That shit burns me up. And that isn’t on Quinn at all.

Quinn has delivered as much as (maybe more than) Colt. Stop hating. Dude balled.

Championship Football cannot be won without a running game.

Stats don’t show that. Bad call before the half, stupid play calling at the goal line. That’s it. And if you look at refs and a few other plays Texas is winning by two scores. Kids played well enough to win, coaches let them down. That’s really what the sec network was saying.

I think the third one  and one of the biggest ones was  the possession at the very end of the 3rd. 2nd and 3 after a solid Wisner run. We called a pass play.  Ended up being the bad bail out screen pass. Run it twice and we probably have the 1st . We ended up punting to start the 4th. They score on the next drive which was the missed holding drive.

SEC network called it - the game was Texas’ inability to capitalize on opportunities.

Tends to happen when your QB's only a game manager and not a playmaker.
