NFL Wildcard Weekend

Pickens is the most frustrating WR in recent memory. And that’s with the long list of head cases the Steelers have had. He’s capable of such ridiculous highlight reel plays, but completely disappears so often.

There is a good movie on TCM, Born Yesterday. That’s certainly better than watching the Steelers.

  • Two TDs already by steelers in 3rd qtr...
  • Now a three and out for Ravens
  • Have to admit I'm really surprised.  Nice job by Tomlin's crew...

Damn drone too close to field sucks

Lamar Jackson is a poor man’s version of what Vince Young should have been in the NFL

Coaching matters. One played for Jeff Fisher, who didn't want him on the team, the other plays for a good coach.

Very Dak like you bitch

I’m not some big Russell Wilson fan or anything but, he has no time in that pocket. None.

I’m not sure how you expect to complete a pass into three defenders. Ugh.

I think he’s still a serviceable qb with a competent oline and a slightly better set of WRs.

Not a big fan of #24 Porter. Too many penalties this season.

He was the exact same player at Penn state. Could be called for a flag on almost every play, gets flagged often.

Damn.

I’m not one of the people saying that he should be gone but, the assistant coaching has been shit. Total shit. They ran off Bruce Arians and after that they’ve gone through offensive coordinators like candy at Halloween. The defensive staff needs to be questioned as well. Drafts need to be better. They’ve drafted a string of extremely talented WRs who just happen to be crazy, etc etc. They need a serious intervention.

You should apply for the job. Pick members of this board to be your staff. I can go recruit kickers in south america for you. Zepol can go with me.

Steelers Need a reboot with new coach...

Jimmy Johnson has talked about how most NFL Head Coaches have an expiration date at one location.

Ha Ha, I was a kicker, and I’m really white, so I’d perhaps go to Germany and find some. 🤣

I think it’s time the Steelers move on from him.

You might be correct. They have to get a lot better.

I respect Jimmy Johnson. He was an assistant at Pitt and I know people who really liked him. I have a friend who used to be the producer for Johnson’s TV show when he was at U of Miami and he always spoke highly of JJ. I think he’s a very good football mind. He may well be correct.

The Steelers have had 3 coaches in 55 years in that time they've been to 8 Super Bowls and won 6 of them
What does this mean for today? Sounds like Dallas fans bragging about their 5 rings. Pittsburgh has long been passed up. Tomlin is now Jason Garrett.

The Steelers have neglected the Oline for too long.  A little bit of injury there.  A little bit of draft misses.  And a bit of not drafting that need.

Hayward is long in the tooth.  Watt has likely passed to the back half of his career.

Tomlins mismanagement of his OC and Oline may have caused mismanagement of his QB.  Then when it’s crunch time the pass rush tends to struggle and the pass D falters.  Giving up 28 points is a good defensive performance in the playoffs of late.

They rushed 11 times for 29 yards and gave up a record 299 rushing.

Tomlin needs to go.
