Ten years ago, a team of filmmakers followed David Lynch on a sixteen-country tour and documented a series of lectures and intimate interviews on Lynch's creative process and his relationship to Transcendental Meditation. The resulting footage has been compiled into a documentary entitled Meditation, Creativity, Peace.

I saw Blue Velvet in the theater. I didn’t really know what I was in for but it left quite an impression. I’ve seen it several times. Once some friends and I watched it on acid. That was a trip.

Always loved Laura Dern. Probably need a different thread to celebrate her work in Wild at Heart.

RIP to a weirdo and I mean that as a compliment.

This one really sucks.

Such a unique special artist.

Mostly a Twin Peaks guy.  Seen most films, but never Wild at Heart or Elephant Man, or his latter one with Dern. Time up fill in the gaps..

I installed Kodi and illegal cable on my Amazon Fire TV for the sole purpose of watching The Return live.

He had emphysema and could not leave his house... I heard they had to move him bc of the LA fires... I'm thinking the hustle and bustle of transporting him thru that mess did him in.

Rest in peace David

Dude.. See Elephant Man.

Don't see it anywhere readily available to be seen.

Same with Wild at Heart.

Watching Blue Velvet again, free on max right now.

Funny how giant asshead Frank drives a Charger.

If anyone hasn't seen The Straight Story, it's on Disney+ and is perhaps his most criminally underrated/underseen film. Unlike anything else he made, and yet it fits like a glove into his oeuvre.

i want to thank you for posting this

i pride myself on knowing about stuff like this and i had never heard of it

watched it friday night

spectacular

dusty room

the lynch angle - then i went down the rabbit hole on the protagonist, the locations, the route, all of the actors and thus the farnsworth story

The episodes he directed of Twin Peaks were amazing. His best work and cemented his legacy. Ive teared up rewatching it recently. The episodes he didnt write or direct were directionless. They didnt know what to do with it after awhile. Networks.

Im not into his movies asmuch. I hope to catch those in the theater so I can be immersed.
