I’m a Bears fan and I feel bad for Detroit. I mean they have somehow been worse then us most of the last 25 years.  Aggy or not dude is a good coach who truly cares and his players will run through a brick wall for him, something most teams haven’t had in a long time.

Injuries caught up to them.

I am on cloud 9 that Washington finally got back to the NFC Championship after 33 years but I hate to do it against possibly the only fanbase to suffer more than we have.

Now...the Eagles need to stopped. No matter the cost.

Disgraceful performance by my Lions today.  In every facet.  The better team--by far the better team--won tonight, and I can live with that.  Wasn't a case of a hail mary, a bad call, a fluke play.  That was domination, particularly in the coaching department.

Fortunately, the Lions have an insane amount of young talent so if they can stay healthy next year (unlike this year)they should be able to make the playoffs, even with new coordinators.

Missouri's shithead Governor commuted his sentence to house arrest last year.

Oh, good. He’s really a good person at heart, and deserved to get out of prison.

Let’s hope the Missouri governor also commutes the little girl’s permanent brain trauma.

Daniels is the most poised rookie QB I’ve ever seen.

NFL Rookie with 50+ CFB games in his pocket plus a Heisman. As a Cowboys fan, I wish he was my rookie, but yes the guy is not hard to root for, but I ain’t wearing their MFng colors!

Can't imagine there's been many playoff games where 4 guys threw a pass for one team.

Maybe against some badass defenses in bodybag games, but not designed plays for non-QBs.

Pretty casual NFL fan here.  I’ve enjoyed watching Mahomes over the past several years and become a bit of a fan, but the straight up preferential treatment he gets from the refs makes him much less enjoyable to watch.  The pattern has been established and now he plays to it, which diminishes his game and the overall game.

A lot of Tweets out today from fans showing that preferential treatment.

Did someone say last year that the Chiefs, with Mahomes, have not been called for a hold in any of the Super Bowls?

It is truly a legacy of failure. The biggest chunk of it under William Clay Ford, who was simply an atrocious owner.  I could bore you with some amazing ways the Lions found ways to lose games over the years. Truly unbelievable.

It all makes everything especially sweet now. Check out the crowd tonight and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

@Minute Bull what say thee

The perceived preferential treatment has become more profound recently, esp. after Kelce started dating Taylor Swift and she started to attend games.  She's really good for business, and the NFL is all about the almighty buck.  Last night, Caitlyn Clark sat with Swift.  Even better for business.

Looking at the Texans penalties yesterday:

  • 1st: 15:00 - Boyd 15- yard unsportsmanlike - Legit/deserved penalty
  • 1st: 7:00 - KC Ball - 3rd-8 at KC 33 - roughing the passer on incomplete pass - drive continues (FG on drive) :: 6-3 KC
  • 2nd: 0:33 - HOU Ball - 3rd-13 at KC - holding on 12-yard scramble by Stroud - drive results in HOU FG and no opportunity for 4th-1 :: 13-6 KC
  • First drive of 3rd Q for HOU - 10:24 drive for TD - 13-12 KC - missed XP
    • 3rd: 15:00 - HOU Holding on kick return
    • 3rd: 11:37 - HOU false Start, 1st-10 at HOU 45
    • 3rd: 7:33 - HOU 5 yard gain on 1st-10 at KC 24.  OPI on HOU
    • 3rd: 5:46 - HOU illegal motion on 3rd-1 at KC 11.
  • 3rd: 1:52 - 1st-10 at KC 35.  Mahomes scrambles.  HOU unnecessary roughness. (TD on drive) :: 20-12 KC

8 penalties for 82 yards.  5 when HOU on offense, 2 on HOU defense (both when Mahomes is Mahomes-ing), 1 on Boyd.

When Mahomes scrambles, I see defensive players becoming tentative.  They know that touching him can be called a penalty.  I hate to complain about officiating, but top-tier mobile QBs get preferential treatment.  And Mahomes is at a different level there.  They are protecting the shield.

I believe KC is the better team, but the thumb is on the scale in their favor.

What’s wild is what Andy Reid saw in Mahomes while at Tech y Tech. He was barely over .500 there, but he did have to win some 52-50, which PM didn’t play defense and neither did the sand aggies.

Hook’em!!!

I knew Mahomes was the real deal the night I watched him throw for 740 yards against OU sucks.

Cry more. It's like 2 plays out of an entire football game. The two Texans players kinda demolished each other in their attempt to hit him. But that happened on first down it's not like it swung the game.

Fuck the Lions. I was already tired of their shit. That Fox pregame bit with Lions fans dreaming about what it will feel like when they win the SB was horrible karma.

Anyone but the Fucking Eagles. I would like to see Buffalo finally get one.

Those defenses sucked ass.
We knew( hoped) Mahomes was a badass when he committed.  Hell, he was a major reason Baker quit.

Mahomes ran for his life behind those Tech OLines, as well. Look at the Texas Bowl against LSU( legit defense.)  Tech had no business being in that game, but Mahomes gave them hell.  It was easy to see Mahomes had play making ability.

He was raw AF and Tech/ Big XII QBs had the reputation as system guys.  It was a huge risk by the Chiefs to make the move on Mahomes, but the result is why you do it.

Yeah that above play is a total flop. There wasn’t a penalty called though.

Star QB in the NFL getting favorable protective calls isn’t anything new.

Easiest solution is to allow replay assist to look at roughing calls. It’s kind of a bright line issue so why not.
