"skippy-o" is the correct pronunciation. No soft "c" in Classical Latin.

Are you sure he wasn’t asking for alphabet soup, with all but I, V, X, L, C, D, and M removed?

Phoenician alphabet, developed around 1050 BCE. It evolved from earlier writing systems like Egyptian hieroglyphs and cuneiform but was the first to be purely phonetic, making it highly adaptable.
