But 3 came screaming in from a far. And pretty sure we brought 5.

No. We brought 4. Guilbeau came from the nickel, but only like 5 yards back. And I believe it was Simmons that dropped back in coverage. The problem was that no one recognizes the screen.

Wish we had a qb who can run. Oh wait.

Sark was never going to deviate from Ewers and while I appreciate the dedication, he destroyed our chance to play ND and bring home the National Championship. I believe that Manning could have made a difference on certain play opportunities. Hope he comes to that realization.in the future.

He did deviate from Quinn, though and then changed his mind for whatever reason. So his gut reaction was correct but he didn't stick to it.

I think he was further back than 5 but I’m not going to go rewatch. I’ll concede the point.

OSU had 20% of their O on one play.  that game was there to win but for 2 complete fucking brain farts by our coaches.

The complete dismissal of Texas by the media in that game is terrible. Ohio state had 2 td drives and one busted play td. And one of those drives was the first one. Defense was lights out.

Let it go, it was a braindead defensive call no matter the numbers, we did something nonstandard and brought a guy from the secondary when a standard defense told to look for a draw or screen (what everybody loves to do in those situations) would have been fine.

I'm not the one that brought it up. But if we're going to bitch about it, we should know what we are bitching about. It wasn't that unusual of a call and it shouldn't have resulted in a screen going for 75 yards absent a bunch of people not doing their jobs.

thats what happens when you give up a strip sack to lose by 14 a game you should have won or sent to OT.  Kurt Herbdouche can act like it was a blow out.
