I'm glad this is happening. Red zone issues cost us all season and in the end, a national championship. We were that close. Now fix this shit in the offseason and go fuck everyone up next year.

Are you under the impression that the pressure he's seen is any way similar to what OSU and Georgia's DLs did to our OL? Or that our receivers were anywhere near as open as OSU's have been tonight or that ours make contested catches that well? If so, do you watch games with your eyes open?

Oh look Mr Football has shown up.  In some cases yes it is similar.  our QB didn't have the ability to help/or the want to.   I'm not the "put in Manning" droid you are looking for.

uh the very first play was a Jerrick Gibson run up the middle stuffed for no gain
So you have 3 more tries to get it. Tossing it 8 yards behind the line against a defense who already knew it was coming was as dumb as can be

I don't think so. Coaches will give loser #2.

As has already been said.  TCU lost 65-7 and was still 2 in both AP and Coaches.  It's not happening.

Leonard is still a mobile QB why is he looking terrible?

Running 9 times in a single drive tends to impact your ability to do basic QB things the rest of the game.

We were fuckin' on Ohio State's one fucking yard line... Nice call, Sark, especially in light of all the successful tactics used to in the last two weeks by other teams to make that 1 fucking yard appear to be very easy to make.

"That one yard scares you to death."

Wasn't this known deficiency worse for 2024 compared to 2023?

Terrifying.

Running backs are important in the Redzone apparently

They knew it was coming and they clearly had numbers.  Coaching fail, Veteran QB fail, would have been easy to audible, time out.   Anything but run that damn play.

Makes me wonder why we tried to make Riley L a pocket passer after the first drive

Because he was so tired he could barely call the plays

That Michigan game means little now in the grand scheme of things. Do you want to win? Absolutely, it's a rivalry game. But so much of that game and rivalries in general was because a loss very likely ends your season. Ohio State in the expanded field should never be bad enough to completely miss the playoffs that often. The end goal isn't lost because you lose certain games now. Ohio State lost 2 and they are about to coast to a title. ND loses to Northern Illinois and they got this far. Completely different landscape now.

There were probably five better options than that fucking abortion of a play call, not that it matters anymore. Hopefully next year Sark will be ready.

we need lincoln burnt log brisket riley to start winning 10 games a season with wins as a "spoiler" and some shitty losses so USC might keep him for a few more seasons before flushing him and hiring some other shit for brains

No shit.  And yes, our receivers were open most of the game.   We just had no efficiency in getting the ball to them.

TD % was significantly better.

Overall redzone scoring took a nosedive because our FG kicker decided to turn into Nick Rose.

Remains to be seen.  We saw the biggest sec backlash in modern CFB history this post season.

I don't think it's automatic the conference will get 3-4 teams in like they originally thought with this new format.

Most of what game?

Any offensive gurus that led a team to a national championship game as head coach and now willing to accept an offensive coordinator role available?
