Not even close. This is just typical game thread stupidity. The morons are the ones who have no idea what they're looking at in a football game and think that was a good clutch throw.
The ball was underthrown by at least 5 yards. I watched it again and my initial 5 yards estimate was generous. Smith decelerated all the way to barely a jog to wait for the ball. That play was a terrible defensive call combined with Smith absolutely torching the DB.
It's the same thing as saying Ewers's two touchdowns to Blue against Ohio State were great clutch throws. That would be a dumb thing to say, just like it is to call Howard's a good throw.

Awesome. QB3 misses by 7 yards

It appears Jesus isn't catholic

I’m not sure where you get this idea that QBs hit WRs in stride all the time. It’s actually a pretty rare thing on deep throws

Ball was apparently tipped at line which isn't a surprise given... never mind. Was discussed in other thread.

THey weren't calling it anyway but yes it was tipped and I guess could have been overturned on replay.

Yeah pretty clearly. Also has an OC who does a better job with Howard’s skill set.

5th+ year senior QBs have shown they are a total notch above.

It's plain to see.

I'm fucking glad the end of the covid senior QBs will finally be done.

Is the Day the first coach in history to be fired by half his fanbase then win the title a month later?

Welcome to the 12-team playoff era. This won’t be the last such story. Previous to this year, Day’s season would’ve ended in the Citrus Bowl.

Ugh stop with the glory to god shit. It’s just a fucking game and it’s really arrogant to think he loves you more than the other guy. It’s so ducking cringe worthy.

Will Howard is playing football on easy mode this year. He didn't magically become a better QB up there. The offense he runs has very easy reads baked into every play call. He has overwhelming talent advantages in most games which stresses the defense and clarifies his reads presnap more often than not. His legs and size are his biggest value adds

This isn't real football, he'll get someone fired for drafting him based on what he did this year.
