Bluetooth headphones barely work at the gym - too much interference

I google searched this, but the answers were: go somewhere else with less interference or the like.  I have tried two different brands lateley and get the same result.  I don't see everyone else in the gym fucking with their headphones all the time.

Is there a brand or technology or something that works?

I had a similar problem at my house with wifi interference.  Now I have a Unifi system with the loudest radios that probably fucks with all of my neighbor's wifis.

Is there a stronger bluetooth signal or something?

Just ask them what they're using and if they work good.  And you might be living over an old radioactive dump.  Should check into that.

Speak? TO SOMEONE? IN PERSON????

But for real, just ask around at the gym.  Make it an excuse to creep on some very fit young lady.

Years ago I had a Sony MP3 player with the regular flat-faced corded earbuds. They did the job at the gym but were never loud enough to fully mask the sounds of clanking weights, treadmills, people talking, etc... After 20-30 minutes of processing this auditory stew, my brain would be lulled into thinking that the cacophony in my ears was what everyone in the room could hear. So one day near the Lat pulldown machines I farted, loudly, thinking no one would hear it over all the noise. I then looked over to see an attractive and horrified young lady hustle away from the scene.

I hope this helps.

Comes down to phone/source and headphones Bluetooth version. Higher is better and will have less interference. Better headphones likely won't matter if phone is on older version.

This is the kind of wisdom I have grown to expect from Surly.  Spot on.
