Didn’t Arch’s family already say they wanted him to start in college for two years?  Also way too early to worry about that but it is the offseason.

Peyton made 45 starts in college. Eli had 46. If Arch leads Texas to the NC game with a bye this year, he will have 18 starts under his belt.  He ain't leaving that early in his development.

The game is far, far different now than it was back then. Guys are ready faster than ever now and the league puts a gigantic premium on youth when it comes to drafting. If he has a great year he’s gone.

People that know better than 99% of the posters on this board have said that Arch is almost certainly going to stick around through 2026. The only reason he would leave early is if he accomplishes all of his goals (Chip, Heisman, Sydney Sweeney) in 2025.

Things can change, but as far as everyone not in Manning's camp knows, he plans to be hear for two more seasons. Everything else is just FUD and speculation.

Very short lived fad that took the US by storm for like 2 weeks in 1995

Just to be clear, the game did actually get its name from the juice flavor...

"The word Pog originates from a schoolyard game labeled “Milk Caps,” played with flat circular cardboard tops. Players make a stack of these caps, and take turns to drop a heavier “slammer” object onto it, causing the caps to scatter. Each player keeps any face-up caps and re-stacks the face-down ones, repeating the process until none land face-down, at which point the player who collected the most caps wins the game. The game was soon trademarked as Poggers, under which it was sold commercially in the 1990s. The name originates from Pog, a brand of juice made from passionfruit, orange, and guava; the use of the juice’s caps to play the game preceded the game’s commercialization."

And it would be cool to see him earn his T ring.

Thankfully, the Manning clan is much much much much smarter than you when it comes to QB development for the pro game.

That does appear to be honeydew.  The one on the far right is most likely Cotton Candy.

Bingo and bingo.

This is only half of our setup. Kids make bank on a hot day.

Sorry for the thread derail.

The Manning Camp was pretty outspoken that kids starting 25+ college games had a much better success ratio in the NFL than those starting less than 25 games.

Arch will walk on Senior Day with his teammates.

Not to detract from my extremely funny post above, but I suspect Arch will be qualified to graduate in ~three years.

not necessarily true for all positions but it definitely applies to quarterbacks.  NFL coaches don’t like the bad habits they pick up in college.

Well, he's guaranteed to be here 2 more years, now.

This.. Arch is most likely here for 2 years. If he leaves, we will all likely be drunk and smiling on Jan 20th, 2026. Really no reason to worry about it right now, a lot of shit has to happen between now and then.

Surly Horns FyreFest 2 Update:

HUGE NEWS! Thanks to @immamac, Gigi Hadid is booked to join us for the Surly Horns Cybertruck drive to Playa Del Carmen for the May 30th concert weekend! We couldn't get Bela.

It's going to take 32 hours from Austin to Play Del Carmen, so we are departing from the Surly office on Tuesday, May 27th at 8am sharp from the Surly Horns parking lot. Bring extra cash to pay off Mexican officials as we make our way across the country. There's still a couple of seats left, so book your seats now!!!

In answer to your question, @South Austin, you cannot pay Gigi for a lap dance during the drive, so please do not ask her. Again, we represent Surly Horns, so any bad incidents reflect on the company as a whole. With @Beau Vine recently getting arrested in the drug sting, we can't afford any more incidents that could adversely affect our 501 c3 status.

I will be providing updates when they are announced. To date, the only act booked to perform is Antonio Brown. (that's actually true, lol)

That's all for now!

Personally, I think he should stick around 3 more years. Take a redshirt, cruise through college at a leisurely pace, then go win his third straight natty in at the Superdome (look it up!). Fairytale ending for the greatest college quarterback of all time. Maybe the Saints will tank for him (not a stretch) and he can follow in pop pop's footsteps. Just spitballin' here.

I love each point but I don’t like hearing less of hill off the edge. I guess having Simmons and Jackson is great but hill and Simmons off the edge was deadly.

I think he was referring to Moore doing both, not him doing less

Man this is where I am; I feel like AntHill could be a 12 sack guy next year. However, if the D is better off for having him roam and clean up the field in general, I’m 100% on board….

Even if Arch didn’t place out of some Math, English, and possibly Science/ Language/ History courses…

…but coming from a prep school with tons of planning for his success, he probably placed out of 6 to 30 hours…

…Arch will have completed 6 Fall/Spring Semesters and 3 double summer sessions by the end of this fall.

That is the equivalent of 4 1/2 years to graduate while never having to worry about whether or not he could get into the class that he needed. And doing it with tutors for each & every class.

Arch will have at least one degree before he leaves UT.

We have Arch for two years max. It is written (IMO) that he will go to New Orleans, like his Grandfather and hometown and resurrect that program.

Hook’em!!!

Yep

There will be a tank-off for Arch in a couple years but this sounds most likely.

Just like Eli, the league will allow some funky business.

NOLA is so deep into cap hell that it will genuinely require a multi year tank to unfuck their roster.

Is this going to become a board fact now that a few people have misread what Hill was actually saying?
