Everything so far is fine and under “control” - some yahoos got on a trash truck but that’s been it

Fireworks are crazy loud. Thankfully with all the sleet all my yard and stuff is covered.

Kind of seems like you do.

When every thread I open on here has some irrelevant political comment from either side, it gets pretty damn old.

Just get over it people. It’s not affecting your day to day life. No one cares what you think. Go jerk off in the CR or on a Fox News comment section. But please STFU here.

Hurts was good, but the Philly defense should have been awarded the MVP collectively.  One KC first down in the entire first half?  That's insane.

100%.

There was a point where the Eagles had as many first downs as the Chiefs had plays. Amazing. And they were only rushing 4 all game.

Andy Reid had a garbage game plan. He called one running play on like the first four drives. Never even tried to establish it. Then when he finally came back to it right after the pick 6 made it 17-0 the first run was some Sarked up overly complex slow developing shit that played right into the fact that by that point with all the passes the Eagles were just pinning ears back and Pacheco got eaten alive 2 yards behind the line.

Not to mention, they seemed to have no plan for Hurts on D.

Brady is sleeping like a baby tonight.

No one is going to touch him in his lifetime. Mahomes had a shot tonight and got drilled.

I mean, Mahomes is still very much on track.

Mahomes isn't winning 7.

He certainly ain't with that shit show of an offensive line.

Kinda think him and the Chiefs are headed for their "we're good, but not SB good" run like Brady and the Patriots had there for awhile.  Without the extra push by the refs all those close games are going to start swinging the other way.  Kelce is old, about done, and more concerned with pop star pussy and his outfits than football.  Reid and Spags gotta be close to hanging it up, too.  And then there's the whole shit show with the psychotic Hunt family trying to strong arm the city and whatnot.  Think they've passed the Aggy October peak and are staring off the cliff now.

Everything isn't all right. You exist. We love you. Jesus does, too, though clearly most of those who claim to follow him don't.

Winning Super Bowls is hard. Brady desensitized us. Then Mahomes came and won 3 in short order and made everyone think that every new flavor of the month is going to do the same shit.

Mahomes is now fighting uphill to get to 4.

Four.

Brady has SEVEN.

I think as time goes on we're going to realize just how insane what Brady did is.

Probably not based on averages but he’s literally on track. Anyone would’ve said the same after Brady’s 3rd and they would’ve been looking correct for 10 years. If Mahomes does it it will likely have to be quicker because Brady’s longevity was absurd.

Mahomes is not Tom Brady. And that's not really a shot on Mahomes.Nobody else is going to win 7.  Nobody else is Tom Brady just like there's not another MJ. Love it or hate it that's the truth.

Is this The Floor game show really just tell you what’s in the picture they show you?  Wtf?

Yes, it really is Jeopardy for morons.  We watched for awhile and there was a part where the category was household decor and they were flashing beds and tables on the screen.

No, he didn’t.

Look, I get that there’s a certain romance for Patrick. I get that. But the thing is that even if they won last night, that’s still just 4 rings, somewhere in the 40’s on playoff TD passes, 18 playoff wins. That’s still nowhere near Tom. If Patrick wants to catch Brady, he’s got a lot of work to do and his little fanboys aren’t doing him any favors with this “let’s just skip to the end and crown him already” bullshit. 4 rings in 6 years doesn’t make anyone the GOAT. It makes them…Terry Bradshaw.

There is a chance the rings he has are the only ones he ends up with. He could also win 3 more but what will be interesting to see his career post Reid who is 66.

There were talking heads who proclaimed Mahomes was the greatest even before last nights game.

I have never seen a worse first hall performance.  That was worse than Elway vs DC and NYG.

personally I believe some of the chiefs and mahomes mystique was knocked off last night.

That is certainly possible and unfortunately that may be the only way certain individuals understand the difference between seeing the big picture and being, as Craig Way likes to say, a prisoner of the moment. And even then, a lot of them still won’t get it…and I can’t help but think it’s the same people that were trying to crown Lebron after he was fucking drafted.

On ESPN this morning, one of the commentators referred to Mahomes as "the GOAT in waiting," and all I could think is how ridiculous that sounded.

Is he a walk-in first ballot HOFer? Sure. But to crown him before he's even made the huge step to the plateau Joe Fucking Montana stands on is ridiculous. Yeah, Bradshaw has his 4 rings, but nobody seriously thinks he could hold Joe Cool's jock.

I think I have him 3rd to Brady right now.

1. Brady
2.Montana
3. Mahomes

I think he may tie Montana in Super Bowls and definitely pass him in stats which would likely put him at 2 all time.

Brady never lost a SB by more than one possession

Joe Montana never threw an interception in the Super Bowl, though he should have in Super Bowl XXIII but the Bengals Bengal'd it.

Mahomes has thrown what? Seven?

Correct. Brady won #4 at age 37. But then he piled them on. Not sure Mahomes has that longevity. He already carries a little more weight around than he needs to.

This is kinda like if Buster Douglas had tweeted at Mike Tyson after the Jake Paul fight.

Also, of the 25 Super Bowls this century, Tom Brady has been in 11 of them, so pretty good odds that he would in fact be there
