Sorry.  Off topic, but I just looked it up.  How in the holy hell did LSU lose 9 games that year with Shaq, Roberts, and Chris Jackson?

That LSU team could light up a scoreboard and they played a stellar NC schedule that season...

They lost to UK in Pitino's first season there with 6' 7 Reggie Hanson at Center vs both Shaq and Roberts and Chris Jackson who was a baller himself.

EASY explanation.

Three words…

COACH DALE BROWN

Two words: Dale and Brown

I think he was a better coach than most give him credit for, he built that LSU program to one of the better programs in late 70s through most of the 80s.

yeah we keep playing this way we’re gonna fuck around and get a favored seed.

T-Rank currently has us projected to finish 20-11 (9-9) which I think is about right. The average seed based on that resume is 8.1 according to T-rank.

The thing with our schedule is every game remaining is winnable. T-rank only has us as dogs in 3 remaining games (@ Vanderbilt +0.6, Alabama +1.7, @ Mississippi State +3.3).

I think that the Vanderbilt game is a big one. They're good but that's also a very winnable game on the road.

Dale Brown had no problems buying players.

That is how he could accumulate talent (a.k.a. “build a program”), but he sucked ass as a coach.

Guy Lewis laughed at Dale Brown’s coaching chops.

Bama is our only  game (out of 9) left against a team currently over .500 in SEC play.

let’s get on a run

Just finished watching it on replay

Great team W. They seem to be learning how to play together

Season high 5 assists for Tre tonight in a season low* on minutes, 30.

look out if they get that working

* - outside of blowouts against the dregs of the non-conference schedule (Chicago St, MVSU, NMSU, NWST)
