Dumb.

“The study does not rank the states by actual number of people who moved in or out”

We can’t assume Arkansas fans actually understand statistical analysis, let alone overfitting data to make a novel finding.

If you would have told me we’d have a 3:1 FT attempt ratio, I’d have predicted we’d win by at least 10.

WTF.

I don’t understand this. Are you talking about just the 2nd half?

because my takeaway from that game was that college basketball looks more and more like a shittier version of the NBA every time I watch it.

FTs in the first half was something like 22 attempts for Arky, 3 attempts for Texas.

so what happens in the 2nd half? Texas is in the bonus before the under 16 timeout.

Final count:

Arky 27-35

Texas 20-27

Maybe Terry should have our guys go play 20 minutes of 5 on 5 in the practice gym an hour before the game.

I've never seen a team that like clockwork looks like complete and utter dogshit for half the game.  It really is amazing

The point is that they're unpredictable. I'm not putting money down for them to do anything. They could miss the tourney or they could make the sweet sixteen. That's how this sport works - especially with a team like this.

You use unpredictable. I say we are inconsistent. But yeah, anything can happen.

My impression tonight from my seat was that Arkansas made us look really slow. It was stark in person.

Yeah, I meant in the second half. Should have specified.

the bad news is our guards are small but not to worry because they are slow as shit as well.

they had 6'3" to 6'4"guards with long arms guarding our hobbitses.

Yeah they aren't just "inconsistent". They're beyond that. I've used both confounding and unpredictable to describe them tonight. They could blow a game up 25 or they could come back and win a game down 25 and each is almost as likely.

That isn't "inconsistent" thats downright erratic.

We'll see what they do the rest of the season. I'm not giving up on these kids until they miss the tourney.

I guess inconsistent is just a nice way to say erratic.
I’m pretty critical of the staff but these players do have a lot of fight in them and don’t quit. That’s why I still support them but we have seen the RT ceiling and I would just assume we not see his floor.

Yea ther offensive schemes have been poor since game 1 of the season.

The offense schemes have really been bad since game 1. We frustrated so I know the guys are just as frustrated as we are.  All of them.

I don't think it's a being nice or euphemizing or being critical thing I just think inconsistent implies a lower delta. To me, this team has a massive fucking delta half to half let alone game to game. It's why I said you could tell me they go on some crazy elite eight run and I'd believe it. The talent is there. Frankly - I think the coaching is there at times. I just think those two things haven't lined up a lot this season.

I've heard that the players aren't huge Terry fans but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

We probably could only image what happens and what's said behind close doors that us fans don't know about.

Are you like AI? Or ESL? What's going on here.

Yup.  I was at the Strollin' Nolan game.  I don't think I've ever booed that much or that loudly.  I couldn't speak the next day.  Fuck those hillbillies.

If you watch the replay, which I have numerous time. Cheryl Miller didn’t care for Nolan’s antics either.

I didn’t mind them.

They had 1000 times more energy last night

They had to have that win to maintain any tourney possibility and it showed.  They will be playing desperate the rest of the year but they have to take 1 of Aub or Bama to have any chance so the dream may die soon.

ha. my comment was about arkansas chances but I see why I confused you.  Ark played like they had to have it.  we came out stunned/surprised.

Like Cal said on one of his videos, “they came out and hit us in the throat” which they did.  Yes, you are absolutely right, “we came out stunned/surprised.”😳

Shout out to Tramon Mark. 0 points and 4 fouls against your former team. Way to show out, tough guy. Real competitor there.

That is fucking pitiful. Was he actually sick? WTF?
