The Wyoming-NMSU game might be decent. I think Hawaii is going to get blown out by CSU. No thoughts on the other two, although I'd like to see Mike Bloomgren have some success at Rice.

Every bit of this and go Duquesne.

That actually feels about right.

What really makes me feel old is that fact that Vladimir Guerrero's kid is the best prospect in baseball and will be in the majors very soon.

You boys are not excited enough for Saturday. NMSU and Wyoming should be good one and is getting close to being a sellout over in Las Cruces.

Going up for my pre-CFB detox weekend before Labor Day. But if they have it on TV in Quebec.... yeah I'll definitely watch it.

Well yeah that's better than Wyoming @ NMSU. I'm talking about those of us that are stuck in the oven down here.

Herbie is ducking like Zach Smith is about to go Ike Turner on his ass.

My GF was reading over my shoulder as I watched that and asked if that was supposed to be Burt Reynolds.

College Football is like pizza and pussy. It's not always the best but gotdamnit, I'm gonna eat it anyways.

Undefeated and still champion. Pizza too, come to think of it.

The CFB season doesn't start on Saturday, it started tonight when the Evangel Crusaders took on the highly favored SAGU Lions of God. In this case, however, we should have taken the dog; as the Christians ate the Lions, 28-9.

U-Mass is actually a well-coached team.  This will be a warm-up for them.

WTF?!?!?!  UMass lost at home to Hawaii last season.  You can't be a well-coached team and lose a home game to Hawaii.

I mean, the most damning coaching decision there is playing Hawaii at home, instead of on the road.  Whaaaaaaaaaaat an idiot...

Is that also the farthest a team has had to travel...Honolulu isn't exactly next store to Amherst?

This is much needed and a good appetizer.   I'm saving myself for Labor Day weekend, when the misses decided to attend a family reunion on her own.   I've got nothing to do from Thursday to Monday, but watch football.

It was a 20k mile (5k each way twice per team) home and home series.  Quite a commute for each team on their respective trips.

Maybe it was scheduled as 1 trip to UMass for Hawaii & 3 future road trips for the Minutemen to face the Warriors out west...

I think BC would be further but that's it, just looking at a map.

The "oven" of the west Texas & New Mexico to eastern, southern California & Arizona, is in my opinion, far better than the "sauna" of east Texas & Oklahoma to the Carolinas &...

is Wyoming still worth watching without Josh Allen - the greatest QB drafted since Peyton Brady?

Craig bohl is a certified qb whisperer. They'll be fine

Carig Bohl vs Frank Spaziani has me thinking it'll be low scoring.

Rocket Ismail Jr. apparently had a good fall camp.  I'm looking forward to seeing what he brings to the Cowboys.

I hope the Cowboys have a great year.
