With Round Rock back in the fold and as the major league teams continue to diverge, I think central Texas is going to be reclaimed as Astros territory, as it has been historically.

He needs to drop down further in the lineup.  I don't care about his feelings right now, it's about what is best for the team and White needs to be batting ahead of him.

White is ahead of him today

Excuse me, I think I just had a stroke.  On another note, I heard Bagwell said during last night's broadcast that he is pretty sure Altuve's knee is still bugging him based on how he is swinging.

Osuna seems pretty good about shaking off a fuck up and getting it done.

He pooped himself and then just changed his britches.   Giles would have smeared it all over the walls.

It’s like McHugh sudddnly decided to make our postseason roster selection harder than it should be.

He would have done a better job of cleaning up his own mess than Osuna did

ok so that was a nice weekend, lead is back up to 4.5, with 2 weeks (13 games) left to play.

vs sea / vs laa / @tor / @balt (4)

we're 94-55, a new high-water mark for the season.

last year at this point we were 91-58.

6-7 gets us to 100.  7-6 matches last year's win total.  8-5 ties astros win record (it's 102, right?)

oakland only has 12 games on their schedule (90-60).

vs laa / vs minny / @sea / @laa

if we can go 8-5, they'll have to go 12-0 to tie us.  those tampa losses were huge.

let's start by going 4-2 this week.  that puts us on pace to clinch in week 2 and have the balt series not matter, so we can get rest and straighten out the rotation the way we want it.

Didnt see game today.  Was Correa able to hit a ball hard today?
Not really - Hit a soft liner for a single and had a bad news bears style bloop double (helped out by some iffy defense).

But it is better than multiple strike outs/double plays

On a personal note, broke through today and I’m feeling good about our chances in the postseason.
After being in attendance and seeing wins in the season and home openers, I’d been to three other games this year before today. All JV starts. All Astro losses (including that bartolo near-perfecto).
Bullpen tried to blow it but glad my jinx was overcome.

It really is incredible this team is still a 100 win team with Correa hitting like dogshit, Altuve with a bum knee and Springer turning in to a single hitter.

Tyler White and Tony Kemp, man.
