like i've said again and again - either our stars figure out what's going on at the plate, and we'll be fine.  or they won't, and it won't matter.  trading for a bat solves nothing.

It will also help if we have our 2 best hitters playing.

JD Davis is not a MLB-caliber third baseman. I liked some of the pop he showed before getting sent down earlier in the season, but his defense is a fucking liability at third.

Especially when you have a guy who can win a bunch of Gold Gloves at that position.
