USMC Harrier pilots make thousands of hover landings to the back of amphibious ships every deployment. At that hover height, wind gusts and atmospheric disturbances have far more of an effect on the cushion of air below them. Also, the air over water is usually more stable that overland, due to the more uniform heating of it's surface.

Getting knocked the fuck out by Mike Tyson is not on my immediate agenda.

The only Tyson I’d be willing to tangle with these days would be a grilled chicken breast.
