Crab boil is sooooo scary.  I'll admit- first time I ever went to a true craw-fish boil and folks walked by with oyster trays full of mudbugs, it was a little eye-opening; but all that video did was make me hungry.

Kept waiting for /expecting him to wipe out into an oncoming car. Just a matter of time.

Don’t you just put the shrimp in at the end to prevent overcooking

Absolutely no sympathy for that dirtbag. I lived near the coast for 12 years. Never, ever put out in a small craft if there is the slightest potential for extreme weather, and I’m absolutely sure a cursory check of the morning’s weather would’ve told them that.
Freaking idiot. Obviously put himself and his friend at risk. And any CG or other resources that would’ve been needed if they’d have been tossed. Without life jackets.
And unforgivable that you took your dog into that.

Counterpoint: when the fish are bitin’, ya go fishin’.

Occasionally had goats getting into brush piles we were burning. Always thought that might be why they’re associated with Satan.

Because they're stupid?

Was "It's a Small World" played on a recorder done through editing, or was there actually something playing that song at the crash site?  Because it's a strange song to pick during editing but somehow unintentionally hilarious if that's real.

In his defense, the reddit posts don't load half the time.  Just the title, no video or thumb, even.

That's happening because he posts a post posting another post. He needs to just post the original post.

As if the Ospreys weren’t already engineered to kill people …

And on the aviation theme, this one fits too.

I either missed this in the news or had forgotten.  a true holy shit.

On August 10, 2018, Richard B. Russell, a 29-year-old Horizon Air ground service agent, shocked the world when he stole a Bombardier Q400 aircraft from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Despite no formal pilot training, Russell managed to perform an incredible barrel roll with the plane, a move so impressive that even experienced pilots called it remarkable, especially for such a large aircraft. The stunt, captured on video, amazed many and added to the surreal nature of the event. During the flight, Russell talked with air traffic control, showing moments of humor and honesty while also revealing his struggles. Tragically, the flight ended when he crashed the plane into Ketron Island, taking his own life. The incident left people amazed by his aerial skills but also raised concerns about mental health and aviation security.
