Does anyone know if there is a legal difference between lying under oath to Congress or lying to the FBI with respect to severity of violation?   Main reason I would want all involved parties, including the witness, to testify/talk to FBI is to get everything on record and subject to prosecution in the event that later facts prove one party was lying.  If Kavanaugh is later proved to be lying, he needs to be impeached.  If Dr. Ford or Mr. Judge are later proved to be lying, they need to be facing jail time.

Yep.  Nothing but a delay tactic.

Not really, she’s just using the little leverage she has.  Grassley has made it perfectly clear she has until 10AM Friday to decide if she’s going to show up on Monday.

I’d expect her answer on that around 9:30AM Friday.

Honestly, she has until Monday. They can't turn her down now if she says yes.

If the Republicans are going to be assholes about this, she should go on 60 Minutes Sunday with her therapist who can possibly corroborate her story years before Trump came near the presidency.

It’s really not even worth discussing but the republicans rush to confirm this asshole should in history for all time be compared to their delay of even giving Merrick Garland, an actual decent human being a/k/a a not a piece of shit, a cowardly act where they even refused to even going on record with a vote.

This should forever put them in the shithole category formerly reserved for other pieces of shit in American History like Benedict Arnold, Nazi sympathizers, etc. It’s really who they are and history will judge them, and their sychopants on this board, accordingly.

Fuck em.

You’re talking shit about the Biden Rule?

When did Biden or anyone else besides Benedict mitch ever deny giving someone even a hearing to vote? Name it asshole. If they wanted to vote him down, fine. They were too much of a bunch of assmunching cowards to do even that. Much like you.

Multiple article III judges nominated by Bush in his last year had the clock run out on their nominations by Harry Reid.  Guess those didn’t count.

All article III judges have the exact same constitutional advice and consent roles for the senate.  So there is no difference.

The Supreme Court isn’t different.  And if you think Reid lets Bush get hearings and a vote on Ginsbergs replacement if she croaked in March 2008, then you are just too stupid to reason with.  Reid Merricked district and appellate court judges.  No way he allows a more important scotus vote.

You and every other dem didn’t give a shit about Garland until trump won. Because you were all so confident Hillary would win and nominate a more liberal judge.

Here’s the thing asshole, I’m not a dem. Not even close. I used to be Republican. Until the party got completely taken over by a gang of criminals.

You are ok with a gang of criminals running your party because it benefits you financially. Congratulations, you are just as worthless and amoral as they are. Your entire existence is ultimately meaningless and contributes nothing to society.

And you’re about to lose. So fuck you.

No error. I was being sarcastic. Your lame brief argument which said absolutely nothing sucked. So if my sarcasm wasn’t clear, well there it is.  Sorry it wasn’t clear to you.

When did you stop being a Republican?

And what caused it?

Because you post like a very committed liberal Democrat.

The fact that you cant see the far left is far more dangerous than the GOP leads me to believe you were never a Republican

Sure why not.

My first doubts started when I learned the Iraq war justification didn’t hold water. Yet I still voted for W anyway.

I was all set to vote for McCain when the economy collapsed. I figured at that point the country needed new blood.

I was torn between Obama and Romney but felt Romney was out of touch as an elite so I voted for Obama. In hindsight that was probably a mistake.

Fast forward to 2016. I hated Hillary, but that was outweighed by my fear for what I felt Trump might do to this Country as president, i.e. tear it apart and weaken it. And unlike many of my liberal friends, I believed that Trump could actually win the thing.

So I supported Bernie. Not because I believed in what he was saying, but because I believed he was the best chance to prevent Trump from becoming President and seriously weakening and endangering this Country.

And I believe I was right.

If you go back to Kevin’s scat site you will see that before Trump became president I occasionally posted in other forums but almost never posted in the Cloak Room.

Since then I have posted quite a great deal. Not because I’m a dem, and not because I’m a Republican, but because I fear what Trump is currently doing to this Country.

Does that answer your question?

I voted for Romney and in hindsight should have voted for Obama. Let’s just swap and feel better about our 2012 mistakes.

At least you didn’t vote for Gary Johnson like me in 2012.  I’d gladly change my vote to either Obama or Romney.

So would you assholes please ignore him?

John Dean just told Cuomo that Dr Ford should go on 60 Minutes Sunday night and do the hearing on Monday.

Her testimony will be powerful, whether on CBS or in front of the Judiciary Committee. Both appearances would be very damaging to the Rs, assuming she's credible.

I don’t recall ever posting on that forum of hornfans, but if I did, I’m sure it was as a Republican. I occasionally posted on that site, and that was where I leaned politically at the time.
