WTF, the part you bitched about was his response to GRHorn.  Step away yourself.

He just quoted that. He's bad at formatting.

He is mad that I pointed out that he was wrong and said he was trying to protect Kavanaugh. Apparently he is just trying to apologize for Kavanaugh because he doesn't support Kavanaugh. Which... makes sense?

Your reading comprehension seems to suffer due to misperceptions of other posters’ views.

To think that I’m a Kavanaugh apologist is...curious.

Dammit I hate Tapa.

Here is what I was trying to say but couldn’t edit:

I’m not mad. Im wrong about lots of stuff all the time and have no problem acknowledging it if called out.

To think that I’m a Kavanaugh apologist or trying to protect him is...curious. Have you been reading my posts in this thread or do you just immediately assume anyone who doesn’t agree with everything you say all the time is a Trumpkin?

Don't worry, Dad. Most of us realize you're one of the good guys.

Well, that and the fucking SCOTUS.  I get it, I'm rather a hopeless sunshine-pumping optimist far too often, but I was holding out hope that SCOTUS would actually remain somewhat a bastion of American greatness.

What a fucking idiot I am.

Bush v Gore out front shoulda told you.

I still can't get over the fact that Chrispy is bringing the heat for Kavanaugh while using the avatar of a fictional rapist.

Yes, he was such a rapist that Betty Childs fell in love with him and subsequently married him. Man, you olds are so bitter, no visitors at the home this week?

He raped her by deception. And the nerds peeped on the popular girls. Maybe the jocks were just trying to rid the campus of pervs and predators. Maybe the jocks were the real heroes and have been cast in a bad light all these years.

Maybe Betty had a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome? Or maybe you’re overanalyzing a comedy from the 80’s, which is more likely.

Jesus it was a movie, stop looking so bizarrely fixated about this Meaningless point. It was fiction and most everybody laughed at the movie, and the cheerleader getting nerd sexed up... except you of course.    That in no way means anybody thinks actual rape is funny.

Media helps shape and inform cultural mores and acceptable behavior, so I do think it's important to point out things from old films that used to be funny but that, when viewed from a contemporary lens, are not okay. Things like deceiving someone into having sex, peeping toms, slipping drugs into drinks, etc.

I know, I know, I should just lighten up. Why can't I laugh at someone being raped by deception? Perhaps it has to do with my being a rape survivor, but you're right, the fact that people in the 80s laughed at sex crimes presented in a humorous light means that I should just shut up and go with it.

And today that doesn't get filmed. It's still never for a second any kind of yeah its OK to sexually assault anyone moment, unless you're a complete and utter moron.  Hey you couldn't even release Animal House today.

Speaking of reading posts, it’s like you’ve never read any from bad_teammate. Of course that’s what he assumed.

Media has a responsibility to shape culture until you point out how much gun violence there is in TV and movies, and then they say it doesn’t matter because it’s not real.

Your usual bullshit.  How about this?  How about the fat  orange cocksucker in the White House show some proof for the 10,000 horrific accusations that he's made or he face some fucking consequences?

You're just like Derka.  New name, same old tired bullshit.
