The 8th best team in the SEC could still be a top 15-20 team nationally this year.

This conference is loaded. Everyone outside of Missouri has a the talent to compete and potentially do damage in a regional.

How the fuck does Earley get preseason Coach of the Year when he's never been a head coach? This a roller coaster thing?

He’s got the best returning roster. There’s a lot of gymnastics to assume he will be able to push the right buttons as a first time HC

No doubt.

Also a big assumption that losing Weiner won't hurt them.  The dude is a phenomenal pitching coach.

The downgrade people aren't talking about enough is going from Max Weiner to Jason Kelly as pitching coach. So many guys took steps forward for them last year on the mound. It will be interesting to see how many regress.

Ike Irish is a funny name

It is.

Not the same but I once worked with a guy named William Bill who went by Bill Bill.

Serious wtf for his parents.

I guess I shouldn’t talk too much because our schedule would probably look similar if we weren’t committed to some of these non-con tournaments before Schloss took over.

Will be interesting to see when the metrics come out but my guess is we will end up playing one of the 3 toughest non-con slates in the league. Our only layup is Dartmouth while most other teams have 3 layups and 1 semi-tough weekend.
